Rowland Posted June 18 Share Posted June 18 Guys, Deciding my chapter will fight as BA’s and lacking a dreadnaught I requested one for Fathers day. Looking at the app the picture shows a Balistus dreadnaught for the death company with two pointy fists (Talons) so I went with that. Seemed simple. However I now see in the back of the new detachment rules there are 3 dreadnaughts and the death company one has something called blood fists. How should I build it and what even is a furiosa dreadnaught lol…it’s not in the app as an option (nor the Librarian Dead). Solution Karhedron Posted June 18 Solution Share Posted June 18 The all-melee Dreadnought is a Brutalis. You can paint it black and run it as a Death Company Dreadnought if you prefer (particularly good in the Rage Cursed Onslaught detachment). The Ballistus is the shooty version with lascannons and missile launcher. I believe it is legacy, one of the older, smaller box-naughts, like the GK VenDread. Karhedron Posted June 18 Share Posted June 18 Yes, the Furioso was the original Dreadnaught with 2 fists and was exclusive to Blood Angels. The Primaris replacement is the Brutalis which is available to all Chapters although the Death Company Dreadnought (which is basically a repainted Brutalis) remains Blood Angels only. Father Mapple Posted June 18 Share Posted June 18 There was a plastic kit for the Box dreadnought size that was a Librarian Dreadnought, Death Company Dreadnought with Magna Grapple, and Furioso Dreadnought. They had all 3 options in the same box, and we're venerable dreadnought sized on 60mm bases. Furioso has the frag cannon, a unique weapon. They're all in Legends now.
