Started playing with the "new" army builder in the app.

First - don't delete leaders/supports while they're attached to a group.  Nasty nasty bug forcing an uninstall-reinstall losing all your army lists can/will result.

 

Second I normally make a few theme lists at the beginning of every edition to see what's possible.  One of them is the Spear of Macragge, one of them is the Deathwing/Ravenwing half-and-half and one of them is the Full Company.  This is the easiest I've had it in a long long time.  Most of the time you have to scrimp and usually miss out on a Lieutenant.  Not this time.  I had Cap, Chap, 2LT's, 30 Intercessors, 30 Tacs, 10 Assault Intercessors, 10 Jump Intercessors, and 20 Devs with room left over for some Bladeguard Vets. 110 bodies, 60 of them Battle Line for the Bastion Task Force.  I don't know if that's the best choice but I had to pick one and that worked. 

 

Third you can now stack Librarians with their 4++ and Apothecaries.  On Hellblasters and/or Devastators.   And I took a break from writing this to play with that.  Anvil Seige Force, Librarius Conclave. 3x10 Devs with Libby and Apothecary.  2x3 Eliminators led by Phobos Libby.  10 Shootinators led by Terminator Libby, and 6 Aggressors led by a Gravis Captain and Gravis Apothecary because I was afraid to add another Conclave Libby.  Part of me wants to add Tiggy, and 10 Hellblasters too.

 

Or you can try Flying Plasma Balls - Dark Age Arsenal, Darkflight Pursuit, Fulguris Task Force.  Samael, Ravenwing Command Squad, 2x Black Knights, and speeders speeders speeders people 2 of the new Land Speeder, two Darkshrouds, three Vengeances because Plasma, 2 Hammerstrikes, 2 Hailstrikes, and 2 Thunderstrikes.   All the speeders ignore cover, and can make an ingress move on turn 1.   Everything is a Ravenwing Fly Speeder, or Plasma shooter or both.   I'm almost afraid to keep working on this one actually trying to Max Plasma and Speeders. 

 

I think its going to be the wild wild west for a bit.
