This kit builds five characterful Nobz with kustom krumpas – a melee weapon profile that covers all kinds of powered blades, klaws, and bludgeons – and can be beefed up with a bunch of specialist gear if the mood takes you. Just check out that big skorcha! They also come with three Grots to carry round any spare guns and ammunition.

Each bike mounts a pair of dual dakkaguns that are typically fired in long, uncontrolled bursts strong enough to kick the warbike backwards, if not for the throttle being fully open at all times. The Biker Nob even gets a special upgrade of their own, strapping rokkits onto their guns for a bit of drive-by tank-busting.

Both of these kits will be available to pre-order soon – the Warbikers alongside the release of Codex: Orks, and the Nobz a little later.

Not as big of a fan of the Nobz as I am most of the other releases for Orks this go around, but I can't put my finger on why

Bikes are great though

For me, I like them but I'm not wow'ed. I think they'll look better plonked next to their smaller compatriots rather than on their lonesome. I guess having already seen a few new Nobz hasn't helped either, particularly since the Burna Boy is far and away my favourite.

The warbikes, glorious. Like others, I'm not overly blown away by the nobz. They're not bad at all, they're good minis. Just didn't have the same "wow" factor I've had from everything else bar the dakkarig and nazdreg.

I find it interesting how they give some units like chaos terminators, chosen and now nobz a generic cc weapons profile yet not others. Same with shooting. I'm not aware of shooting units with a "generic" profile.

I also worry that lootas are tootling to legends. Objectively flash gitz cover anti infantry dakka and tankbustas cover anti vehicles/ monster. However, lootas are iconic. Seeing them depart would be quite sad. Here's hoping they've got some in the pipeline.

I can understand how someone saw the  Nobz options and thought it was a kill team release.

Since in the article they are saying they won't release with the codex but later that might still be the case

Well, they are both great releases to my eyes.

Of course, this is an 'evolution' of 10th and I'm interested to see what is happening in the codex.

Come back later this week as we take our first look into Codex: Orks to find out how the faction’s datasheets have changed. There’s more than you might think, so don’t miss it!

Gorgeous models, i have yet to see a single dud in any of these new Ork kits, amazing job GW.

it makes the incoming SM release look so lame in comparison considering its going to be nothing but remakes of Primaris marines which weve already seen the direction they are going with the starter box minis and its not like those filled me with excitement.

I would conquer whole nations, build mighty armies and fight wars untold just to have this miniature.

Thankfully you'll be able to buy from local stores or online. The only thing to potentially conquer is the GW webstore in which case your plan may be easier.

You can just buy it. Later.

But yeah, these are pretty great, though i wonder if they have the same flexibility in building afforded to them like the boyz.

I think homogenizing shooting is a lot harder than it is to say "These things all slash or stab."

Also people are still a bit sideways over the changes to Combi-weapons, which basically did homogenize all of the different variants into a single stat line that most people don't like.

"Power weapons" has, on the other hand, been mostly fine.  No one REALLY wants to roll a different die for a power axe v a power sword.

The Skorcha nob is outstanding. The rest are nice sculpts but I think my final verdict depends how kustomizable the kit is. The previous Nobz (which I have a box of) are immensely modular and these do not look to be so. Also sad that they're going with genericized weapon profiles for melee; would have been nice to have the options of the previous kit where you can go for a big gun of some form, a big choppa, or a slugga and choppa or power klaw.

The bikes look very nice but again, hoping they aren't too monobuild.

Man that's crazy, I expected to enter this thread with nothing but praise for the Nobz. Different strokes and all that, but this might be my favorite release so far

Yep, there does seem a little something off with the Nobs. A bit like the Wrecka crew they're just a smidge off. Maybe designed or painted at different times? A solid 6 for me, but the bikes are aces. I'd love a few optional grots hanging off the bikes. One can dream.

It's probably going to cover the new Waagh! rules we've seen mentioned on previously show datasheets. Something about rising Waagh?

I'm glad you're chuffed with them. As I say, I don't dislike them. If each one has two builds I'll grab two boxes, if not, it'll be one. Same with the boyz box but I do adore the updated boyz.

The bikes I do really love though and the extra pics just reinforces it. I'll be grabbing 4 boxes asap for the speedwaaagh.
