BelVasques
I’m not a professional painter. But I can’t play with the minis unless they’re painted. I'm not into clean paint jobs; I like the model to look dirty and somewhat intricate. I’ll be gradually posting the paint jobs I’m working on—or have already finished—for the game pieces I own. Suggestions and tips are always welcome. Firedrake Cordova
The landspeeder looks great - the battle damage is very nicely done kabaakaba and BelVasques 1 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/388369-blood-angels-painting-project-br/#findComment-6182600 Share on other sites
Rusted Boltgun
Really like the heavily used look for these Blood Angels. Did you use oil washes for the grime? Você usou algum tipo de lavagem com óleo para simular sujeira? Actually, no. It involved a few layers of water-based acrylic paint applied using dry-brushing and washes. kabaakaba
For some reason I see Portuguese... But any way, nice work on weathering! Good morning. Really? I try to put everything in English. Even though I don't write very well, I can read English without any problems. But I'll be careful not to make that mistake again—thanks. Oh, and thanks regarding the painting. Dr_Ruminahui
For some reason, when you quote people that turns out in Portuguese - not a huge issue and we appreciate the efforts you are making to discuss with us in English. One alternative to quoting (and, as a note, I'm not telling you not to quote) is to put @ then the user's name, which will make the post show up in that person's notifications, depending on their settings. So, as an example @BelVasques. I'm liking your gritty blood angels - its not a chapter that often gets that look in 40K. Brother Eleysium
Grim and dark. The attention to the detail in making the speeder and marines look like they've been through h3ll and back is awesome.
