OK so are we guessing Knights will be near the end of the 11th edition refresh cycle if they are coming in 2028.

Could be the mid point if it was January 2028, but more likely back half. As chaos tend to pair into their release my spikey mechs will likely be a back of the bus job as well.

Still, it's likely to knock the wind out of some sails. I don't think GW will acknowledge this in any capacity either as it'd be too problematic.

Someone's gotta be on the tail end of things. This time it's Knights.

There's no reason to think its the tail end. The edition will assumingly end June 2029, so unless they drop knights the winter of 2028, it's hopefully at least a year of new life.

It looks to be armed with giant versions of the arc rifle, making it a mechanicus knight. Weird to see a postdated sprue, I'm more used to new sprues with years-old dates because they are copyright when they are designed, not sold.

I really dig the helm options.

Anyone else notice the two half masks? The skull one looks like you can make it more or less have a Machina Opus for a face.

Interesting weapon choice on the giant arc rifle, makes me think it is a tank hunter which I thought Destriers could do handily but maybe it does so differently (or my premise is off).

Not sure what is going on with the second weapon, maybe I am hallucinating but the two corner pieces of the sprue make me think some kind of industrial press or clamp claw (but they could also be arm components and you use one of the other Destrier weapons on the other arm).

Excited for it though.

Huh.

We’re probably all very aware of how GW works at least three-ish years ahead of release, but it’s pretty of surprising to see finished sprues from at least a year out. Didn’t think they started to cast and put stock together that early, tho I suppose it’s possible that this is just a test.

…or it’s AI, and the rumors/leaks situation for the foreseeable future just got a lot weirder.
