chilipot
Hello there My Battle Brothers and Sisters, I am returning to the hobby after 17 years away. I am Dusting off my old Dark Angels and finding my Unpainted Additions. Here is my Problem They no longer make Dark Angels green spray primer. They have now Caliban green but it does not match my older army. the colors just don't match not quite are dark. I feel even if I gave them a wash with a dark blue or a black I don't feel they will match. Any tips or suggestions to help me match would be greatly apprecatied Firedrake Cordova and Lathe Biosas 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/388381-returning-player-with-a-color-question/ Share on other sites
Lathe Biosas
You might want to try The Army Painter Colour Primer Angel Green. It's not exactly the same, but it's the closest I've seen to the color you're looking for. Oh, and the last time I used it, the spray was a little heavy. I suggest testing it out so you can judge the consistency first. Grotsmasha
Cour Forge also do a variety of Green Spray Primers, so you may also find a compatible colour in their range. Firedrake Cordova
The other option would be black or white spray can, and then Coat D'Arms Angel Green and an airbrush, but obviously that would require an airbrush and Coat D'Arms paint to be easily available to you.
