Severed
Working on a Votaan army for 10th/11th ed A Rough experimental test model for a Votaan Army. No highlights or clean up. Painted it black then dry brushed all the armor. After that went over the dry brush areas with a red contrast. Was trying for a shiny red. Came out more orange red. Came off a little to dark. Black paint went a little odd. Nulu oil did odd things. Was a learning experience. But think I will go a different direction. Dr_Ruminahui
I quite like him, for a "down and dirty" style paint job. My personal taste would be for crisper delineation between armour plates (so, between the torso and helmet, the torso and shoulders and at the knees) but you would need to make your own call as to whether the effect would be worth the effort.
