I do not normally get easily confused by game or setting terminology, but I have to admit that having recently got interested in the Heresy setting, all the Imperial units, organisations and equipment starting with Ve- may require close attention to avoid mixing them up with other similarly named things. So far I am aware of at least the following:

1.) Legio Venator (Iron Spiders) is a loyalist titan legion hailing from the forge world Arachnus.

2.) Venator light maniple is an organisation used by many titan legions (and by no means exclusive to Legio Venator).

3.) Krios Venator is a peculiar looking Adeptus Mechanicus tracked vehicle armed with pulsar-fusil.

4.) Sicaran Venator is Legio Astartes combat vehicle armed with neutron beam laser.

5.) Venatari are a Custodes unit in golden armour, equipped with winged jump packs and close combat weapons. Not to be confused with Blood Angels, who at least in later years also like golden armour, winged jump packs and close combat weapons.

6.) Veletaris are elite Solar Auxilia infantry, armed with relatively short ranged weaponry.

7.) Venenum are Divisio Assassinorum agents specialising in the use of toxins.

8.) Knight Vestal are battlefield medics of the Sisters of Silence.

9.) Vexilla is a standard or infantry back banner.

10.) Verutum lance is a close combat weapon used by Custodes.

Any others that I should be aware of?

Unfortunately I did not have opportunity to study classic Latin at school (unlike my father), I presume that would help with managing these kinds of names.

If I am not totally mistaken, that shining gold flying tank is actually Caladius (not Calidus). Though I can see some room for confusion - not great if you are the Imperial commander that requested some super-stealthy assistance, and instead received one of the shinier prade float in the Imperium.

Besides Latin, there is also a fair bit of classical Greek used in the setting, especially when it comes to Adeptus Mechanicum. Occasionally other Imperial forces may also get their share - Pallas grav-attack vehicle for the Custodes sounds rather Greek-ish to me.
