I've always been a big Sci-Fi and Fantasy fan, and got into Warhammer 40k (somewhat unknowingly) in the early 2010s when I got ahold of the [First] Ultramarines Omnibus. I'm more into the lore side of the hobby, but I have recently started to get into the building and painting side as well. I've played some of the WH40k video games, but so far I haven't really found anybody around me that I could potentially play on the tabletop (which I'm brand new at). Beyond that, I hope to do some homebrew(s), or just some lore discussions (whether that be actual lore, or the lore of someone else's homebrew). Already, I've seen some cool stuff on here, so I'm looking forward to getting stuck in.
