There isn't a Legion Imperialis reveal for the show going by what they've said but I do think a plastic Thunderhawk/ Warhound is something that won't be locked to one system as GW are going to make sure that everyone is going to want it...They kind of have to at the price they'll be asking

Placcy Imperator, tellin ya!

I think a plastic Thunderhawk would sell pretty well, Christmas is coming up and I think a lot of 30k players would make a purchase come what may, myself 100% included.

That would be AMAZING!

Only if it comes with the fake American accent from the audio books.

For Legion Imperialis?

Maybe I'm crazy but I'd be astounded if we got a plastic Thunderhawk before Fire Raptor or Storm Eagle.

Yeah they would be cheaper to manufacture and come in at a lower price point. They could judge the sales of these and see if a huge Thunderhawk kit would be worth making.

Personally I think it would, the legion superheavies were extremely well received so I reckon 30K enthusiasts would stump for one. If it ever happens I 100% will.

I'd imagine the logic of a thunder hawk first would be the same as a for the rumoured warhound. It's system agnostic, can be sold to any Space Marine player imperial or chaos and it would look great as a display piece if you didn't want to game it. That's a huge potential market. Same for the war hound with alternate panels you'd cover (I think) over half the factions in 40k, all factions in Heresy and it's a statement piece for a collection. Not to say that the storm eagle and fire raptor won't come but big at a "reasonable" price would be a far larger marketing/sales point.

I am just praying that even if its a kill team, they bring back my beloved Legion of the Damned. Then Id buy the Overpriced Ferrus Manus miniatrue and make a Battleforce using a kitbashed version of him to lead my LOD Army!!!!!! And While I HOPE BEYOND HOPE they use the red corsair route for the LOD with maybe a SINGLE primaris in the groupat most..... depending on what Lore you point to for the LOD, they could actually be mostly primaris now. Didint LOD Attica Centurius have a device that basically stole souls to pay the price the LOD needed to continue to manifest, as well as recruit new souls to their ranks because eventually the old souls..."burn out".... again I hope not, but prepared for both.

It'd be nice if they Legion of the Damned were older marks but I think they will be manifested in the newer Tacticus armour I think and probably ruined with loads of unnecessary three dimensional flames and warp effects rather than just cover them in bones and stuff.

Wouldn't surprise me if the scarab was more Prospero stuff.

GW really forgot the whole less is more over the last few years

I am just a little bored with custodes for heresy at this point. They should have been one big release but GW is dragging it out now

Im bored of rereleases of the tactical squad in different armour marks despite being happy we finally have mk4.

Theres so many kits that would be far more useful to get in plastic and im not even asking for silly stuff like mastadons.

Speeders, sicaran variants, Aurox and carnadons, sabres, destroyers, recons, etc

Unfortunately I think A lot of those will either be phased out/never get plastic, or only be made availiable in a single varient. I just print the other Sicaran turrets myself and put them on the GW Plastic tanks. Destroyers might come as MKV pattern or as an upgrade kit if you look at the trend they did for the heavy units

There's some big holes in the mech range as well still, but they wanted to invent some more skitarii randomly.

Well the good news is there is only really MkV to go now (unless they do release a MkVII for the Siege).

But I am hoping we see some of the other stuff rounded out, and perhaps selfishly hoping its for the Legions.

So Legion of the Damned is confirmed.

Also the cool AoS Dwarves that look like the Dwemmer stuff in Skyrim?

The bananas indicate Custodes. I guess their faction is a bit of a mess right now and needs a clean up, especially in respect to all the additional Heresy units and the new models looking so different from the old.

We've just had an Ork release wave so I'm guessing the Squigs are BloodBowl.

That would be a pretty cool set of reveals but I'm hoping they have some big surprise in store. Plastic Warhound probably... although I would prefer a plastic Thunderhawk or Astraeus...

I guess consolidating everything into the new Heresy reboot aesthetic is more important than having functional armies in plastic.

There's a stack of things that they should make for HH. However, I'd really like some different marked armour battle forces. I don't know why they haven't done this already.

Oh, and plastic upgrade kits for all legions.

Joking aside I don’t think we’ll get a plastic Thunderhawk any time soon. Like you say there’ll probably be at least 1 astartes flyer before it is released.

Be amazing if it was though.

So will it be just the LotD KT, or do we expect a vs. box? And if so, who's the other half of the box?

It seems that they've stopped doing the verses boxes for the mid-season KT releases, saving those for the launch boxes. The last few have all been a single team vs a bunch of generic units/NPCs.

(Drukhari Grotesques! Commorragh Terrain!)

Per Valrak, it's LotD vs Ork nobz.

Then again, Legion of the Damned SHOULD be a little over the top with flames and bones.

I'm just more concerned about the rules that'll come out. At least it's confirmed their Bolt weapons won't hit like wet noodles based on the Marine codex leak.

I don't think they should be over the top at all. I don't want awful sculpted smoke and flame effects on them. They could include some exposed bone and skull faces like the old set, I just don't want to deal with GW's awful effects like those grenades that float in mid air on a puff of smoke. That stuff really sucks and always looks like a cotton swab no matter how well it is painted.

Knowing how vanguard vets were done, these new Lotd might be as bland as boring as those. GW is so hellbent making 40k primarinades only and i am doubting even ltod ain´t escaping that, as horrible as it is.
