TheDarkOne
Hello! I have gotten back into 40k in 11th edition and spent the better part of a year slowly building back my painting skills and painting up my chaos marines (word bearers). This weekend was my friend's birthday and I thought I would do something cool for him. He plays Dark Angels and is also considering picking up the dice again after a long break (thanks kids...). So, I spent about 20 hours between Labour Day and today exclusively on Lion. I learned new techniques, bought new paints and had a great time painting this Primarch. I will say, its the best I've been able to produce so far. I do NOT look forward to seeing him set up against me, but here he is, Lion El' Johnson Primarch of the first legion: Edited September 15 by TheDarkOne 2 4 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/388527-lion-el-johnson-a-birthday-gift-for-a-brother/ Share on other sites

space wolf
What Pounder said, super vibrant, and well shaded. I'm sure your friend will love it! 1 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/388527-lion-el-johnson-a-birthday-gift-for-a-brother/#findComment-6187170 Share on other sites
