Lathe Biosas
I rember there being specific rules in 10th edition of what to do when an opponent concedes... They removed their models from the table and you continued the game until all the turns were complete. This way you could finish objectives and weren't penalized in a Tournament setting by having your opponent quit halfway through the game. I can't find those rules for 11th Edition. Can someone point me in the right direction? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/388655-conceding-in-11th-edition/ Share on other sites
Solution DemonGSides Posted October 9 Solution Share Posted October 9 It would depend on the tournament companion active during the time. There's nothing in the core rules due to it being a wholly Competitive concern, so would be in whatever tournament pack that your TO is utilizing. Current Tournament Companion rules don't take into account anything about concession, just mentions that your placement shouldn't be based on per game points but on a W/L record, so to me that indicates that they don't think it's materially important to figure that out. Previous edition companions/tournament rulings have run the gamut from "You score all maximums" to "You score what could be possible by simulating your draws and talk it out." It'd be a tournament ruling any way you shake it; normal people don't care about the points involved at the end of the game unless they really stuck it out, and quitting early is the opposite of that, and an admission of loss. 3 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/388655-conceding-in-11th-edition/#findComment-6191042 Share on other sites
