They'll run out of ideas for him... eventually.

This miniature will be available to pre-order soon, and if you want to use it in some fun casual games, make sure to grab this year’s Festive Activities Guide from your local Warhammer store in November. It contains Legends rules for Warhammer 40,000, Nemesis Operatives rules for Kill Team, and as unlikely as it sounds, Blood Bowl rules.

This raucous tale revolves around the ratling fixer Ector Flynn and his squad of snipers, who are sent into a snow-cloaked wasteland by choleric Catachan commanders to hunt Da Red Gobbo down. After months of being bullied and knocked around by the Jungle Fighters, Flynn’s team welcome the chance to finally prove their worth, but nothing goes to plan when Da Gobbo is involved and they may come back learning a little something about vengeance from their red-coated quarry.

Long live the revolution! Though for some reason the headgear on the model reminds me a lot of certain performance in 2007 Eurovision song contest.

As for the book, probably won't make my reading list, but how many novels are there with a bunch of ratlings as the main characters?

There are a number of motorcycle and sidecar riding duos in the history of popular culture that may have provided inspiration for this. But now that you mention it, Wallace and Gromit may be one of them. Are those cartoons particularly popular in UK around the Squigmas time?

Inspired converters might continue with the theme by building a gretchin model wearing "da mekanikal pants". GW itself may not anymore do a pair of bionik legs for orks (though they at least used to), but I could think some other manufactures that make something appropriate. Just stick the upper body of a gretchin to the bionik legs, filling up gaps with putty and bits box material as appropriate.
