Attempt at Legio B&C chequers...

I just finished my Legio mini-me and thought I'd post it here! (I did post in the Legio Club, too)

 

 

Brother-Epistolary Lysimachus is a veteran of the Legio's Librarius. He hails from the Emperor's Blade Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes, and as such Lysimachus is devout and utterly loyal, first to the immortal God-Emperor, secondly to his divine son, Roboute Guilliman, and thirdly to the Primarch's holy tome, the Codex Astartes.

Obviously, I had to go with a Librarian, and I figured of my main DIY Chapters, the (Ultramarines Successor) Emperor's Blade would be most likely to get involved with and support the Legio?

 

Bits-wise, it's a Sternguard body. Arms, sword, hood, and various psyker-y bits and pieces come from the Phobos Librarian. The plastic DW pad continues to serve as the Legio badge, he got the other shoulder and his head from an old Librarian kit and his Chapter badge is from somewhere(?) Dark Angels.

 

Painting-wise, he's in standard Legio colours. Don't look too closely at the chequers, they're pretty rough, but I'm happy with the sword glow - I reckon it's alright for my first try at any kind of OSL!
