So, take with a bucket of salt (and courtesy of u/gomesaddamz on Reddit) but... something that appears to be a 40/30k scaled Warhound Titan sprue has cropped up on Vinted (and apparently immediately sold). Strangely, the Reddit thread has immediately been deleted, and Azhek was quicker with his image capture than I was.

If it is a fake it's a very, very good one. The sprue design is consistent with GW's layout, the top plate looks very similar to the LI design for Warhounds and in the bottom right hand corner there's an Eye of Horus which is a dead ringer for the HH range and two things that look remarkably like Void Shield generators. It also suggests that it might be a billed as a Heresy model, which makes a degree of sense as they are in the Liber Questoris book.

Assume it is fake until WarComm preview it, but this is very plausible.

I didn't think it was impossible and we have got as far as the Dominus class Knights but it's still a shock. The effort required for this to be fake makes that seem less likely now.

How are they going to sell this beast? Are we getting more genuine effort into Apocalypse again? The "No Knights in 40k" crowd will be flipping tables now.

Rumour was £300 with 2 weapon arms and other weapons separately later. They already have valid rules in 40k and 30k, with rumours of a titans codex for 40k before Tau drop.

But yes there have been waves of "they'd never do that, it doesn't fit in the game" for 40k in places online.

It's going to be sold as a Horus Heresy product with rules for 40k kept in the app.

And it will continue to be "bad" in 40k, thus solving the problem for competitive players, but will sold like gangbusters as a hobby project/centrepiece regardless of where it appears on tables.
