I suppose it's ok? He's clearly seen the Sanguinala battle box which explains why he looks so depressed.

I still can’t shake the feeling he’s in gravis armor.

im not familiar with any tacticus models that have hoses/piping coming out of the back of arms or legs, but i know thats pretty common for gravis and he does have said hoses/piping.

that chest piece also just looks too chonky to be tacticus to me.

combined with the collar? Hood? Seems very gravis to me.

 

maybe they’re planning to slim gravis armor down a bit for future releases, and this is the start?

Definitely not. He doesn't have the pipes in the legs, nor the hip plates. The biggest giveaway is the legs, Gravis models have an extra layer which is prominent where the bottom of the greave meets the top of the foot. The only Gravis feature is the collar which I think is Blood Angely rather than Gravis.

The only piping on the new model that isn't normally on tacticus is on the right arm, which is connecting the armour to the exsanguinator/narthecium and a throwback to the original model.

We can’t see the back of his other arm, so we don’t know that.

other arm is too slim for gravis. He's 100% in tacticus
