Seeing as how the "theme" is Urban esque I'm probably gonna use the new City Fight stuff for the board. I think I'm going to dig out my own Space Marines and have a go at painting them, probably put up a thread on here too. I recently did a display base. It used, I think, a canvas board (can't remember if that's what it was now) topped with foamboard cut to the shape of the models. Had some wooden strips around the side, and used judicious amounts of insulation foam, Plaster of Paris, water effects, and other stuff. Came out pretty good. I'm going to go for another one.
