Ferrata Posted April 15, 2006 Share Posted April 15, 2006 From what I understand, the Sons of Orar are a DIY chapter created by someone at GW (thus how they managed to get into the Codex) although they could be from anyone. Commissar Molotov Posted April 15, 2006 Share Posted April 15, 2006 The Sons of Orar were created by Keith Robertson, part of the 'Eavy Metal team, and can be seen in various White Dwarves and Codex: Space Marines. In WD 305 (UK), there is a Sons of Orar Terminator Librarian - Keith says: 'My Sons of Orar chapter have a history of fighting Tyranids which I wanted to represent through the use of trophies...' This would suggest Preferred Enemy as one of the traits. You might be able to email White Dwarf UK and ask for a contact email for Keith if you wanted to ask him what traits he uses... Commissar Molotov Posted May 12, 2006 Share Posted May 12, 2006 Consent? No. My understanding is that the Sons of Orar are a fully legal army under the trait rules given in Codex: Space Marines.
