The Angelus Sanctus Posted May 23, 2006 Share Posted May 23, 2006 Im not too certain if there is an actual 'set' color as such, although im sure if you look through the how to paint space marines book, there will be a general way for painting chest eagles (which i believe is bone). In the past Ive painted chest eagles in both bone and various gold/bronze colors to add more variety across marines. lhg033 Posted May 23, 2006 Share Posted May 23, 2006 have generally always gone for bone i usually go from a brown base color (either white with a wash applied afterwards or a straight brown) then work through to komando khaki up to bleahed bone as the final colour. if i was particularly lazy on a model i may use a metal - boltgun metal, gold botth work ok. copper works too if there is a good red to set it of against nearby (cloak/weapon etc) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
