Dunno why but your idea sounds like something I've heard somewhere... some guy from the Iron Souls Chapter with necrons close by... weird isn't it?

I just read your PM ,... and I think the same ,.... WEIRD THINGS HAPPENS IN THE WARP CHAPLAIN!,....WEIRD THINGS :P

Well, since everyone's been asking me for more photos of the Dreadnought's legs, i've taken a few, so you can see how i've worked them out. I'm also updating my progress on the servitors, wich are looking very good so far... so, without further adue...

The man is unstoppable. And did I mention I hate you and your mad GS skills :D I'm going togo sit in the corner and sulk.

But really, the redo of the legs is perfect, really blands in and gives a better sence of how a dread would walk. And the servitors are just too cool to describe.

Some progress on the servitors:

Looking real good. I just want to offer a suggestion, hope it doesn't come off as holier-than-thou :) On your non-organics (the machine on the belt in the second picture, the shoulderpad edges), once your GS gets a little set, go back and sharpen the edges again. It looks like some of it is suffering from set-up droop. You could also leave it for more than 24 hours and fine-sand it, I use a 400 grit. Clearly you know your way around Greenstuff though so probably not anything new.

These will be incredible when they're done!!

I know its nothing new, but those legs... NO! that model is GREAT! I think you have started a whole slew of Dread conversions involving legs and poses. I love the idea of the struggle... are you going to be involving the scum he is struggling to throttle in your diorama? Can we expect to see your work at any upcoming GD's? Also, are the flame holders entirely from scratch or are they based around another model/ piece? Post more WIP pics soon please.

Well, actually, no. I decided they are not going to appear because i'm thinking about using this miniature not only as a diorama, but also as a part of my army; thus, it can be put against many enemies (i hope  )

Besides, the size of the diorama would have to be really BIG.

Unfortunately, not in the coming months. I'm living in a NGWL (No Games Workshop Land  ) and we don't have GDs here. But i'm thinking of travelling to somewhere that has... so maybe next year.

They're entirely built from scratch, my friend. No miniatures were harmed in the making of the flame holders.

Thanks for the interest.
