nice ST-Shadow. how did you make that one? it looks kinda like the forgeworld model but without that big old dozer on the front.

like it Artimis. :tu: made from a rhino and basalisk by any chance? thanks guys. was hoping it'd be 318. was gonna get it for the reference sheet, now gives me another reason. havent bought a wd since about 301! has really gone down hill recently, but this is not a "Gripe-about-how-bad-WD-has-gone" thread. ;)

I've done two myself.

My loyalist one looks a little more normal. It's basically all the old parts put onto the new rhino kit. If I recall, all you have to do is put a small plasticard spacer in the back top hatch (since the old metal one doesn't cover the whole thing). That and put some spacers on either side of the front cannon assembly (since the new rhino is wider)

And this is my Traitor Vindicator for my Iron Warriors.

It's the center portion of the old vindicator built normally, but uses reversed double width Leman Russ tracks. Dozer blade is the new IG dozer.

here's my Imperial Fists vindicator, still in the very early stages but I hope to have it ready for Medusa V

Dang it... Now I'm going to have to buy another rhino and lob the sides of my loyalist one to widen it

It looks more like one of the big German WW2 siege mortars to me - possibly 1:35 scale.

Yes it is a siege mortar, though honestly, I don't know where it's from as I got it for a gift. Prepainted though, and I don't know the name of it either

Been looking and I haven't found anything remotly close.

Here's one I did a while ago. In play it usually suffers a glancing hit, and for some reason the only results are ever 'weapon destroyed' or 'BOOM!'. Sigh. It seriously underperforms in killing the other team, but more than makes up for this by scaring the daylights out of them and making them rethink their whole plan from deployment onwards.

I used an old predator kit to make this. A great big cookie if anyone can figure out what the gunbarrel is made of.

The Gun is from the German WW2 Siege Mortar named "Karl". A huge "mobile" (6 mp/h) Mortar on Tracks. They have been used during the Siege on Sevastopol/Russia in 1942 an the Battle of Warsaw in 1944.

I was so inspired by this thread, I decided to make my own:

Shown on the rhino hull:

Shown alone:

Not the best, but perhaps the cheapest? I can put it on top of any rhino without the topdoors glued on, thus increasing my options without buying too much.
