Brother Gothard Posted June 22, 2006 Share Posted June 22, 2006 I like to look at artwork and read about how dead ard' the basic marine is to get some inspiration for my tactical marines. I get very inspired whenever I think about how different marines are in the fluff vs the table. My marines usually perform attrociously on the table, but when I remind myself of how amazingly 'ard they are in the fluff, I get a twinge of nerdy excitement. I agree with OMG as well. I cannibalised the IH boxed set for parts to spice up my basic marines. I gave all my plasma gunners bionic bits to represent them ALWAYS DYING ON THE FIRST SALVO IN EACH GAME :D :P Anyway, yeah .. just get creative.
