Starks333 Posted July 8, 2006 Share Posted July 8, 2006 could just be the photo as it often is but the red looks a lot less highlighted than the blue is, also that mushroom just looks solid red, and is quite distracting as well i personally like subtle/dull highlights on the leathers, but subtle/dull cost me first place, so you may want to consider that the skulls look like the could be blended better and i cant see the metal to comment on it Starks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Grey Knight Posted July 9, 2006 Author Share Posted July 9, 2006 Thanks for all the comments, the emperor's champion did indeed win, In the 40k single mini, this was in neophytes :D anyway conflict was great, especially ascension to power, this picture is crap, i literally took it 2 minutes before i left, hopefully proper ones will be up soon, the shroom isn't actually solid red. The reason some of the highlights are harsh is because i left this to the last 2 days ^_^ my other one turned out crap so i trashed it, the bone turned out sub par and the metal also wasn't all that good. DavidKits, if you wish please feel free to post your chaplain(i always love seeing well painted minis :P ). by the way, the 40k single mini and large mini entries simply WOWED me :blink: i literally spent at least haf a hour going to the warpstone booth and looking at them, especially Angela Imrie's entries, and th word bearer tank, those things where amazing. and about the mushroom, I have never wondered that, although i would personally feel scared to eat a red and white mushroom -_- edit: the reason for shrooms is cause it's like my signature, my games day entry(which didn't place) had shrooms too :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
