I just painted mine white (although adding a blue tind would work even better) and added some fluids (mine are red).I then added a Skull White strip to simulate light reflecting of the glass.

i can't remeber who it was but there was a post where someone did theirs silver to represent solid metal on the principle you dont want it smashing and losing your geneseed mid battle - good point and they made it look pretty good.

@ joker: Damn.. now i remember why I hate seeing Y's stuff... It makes me think my painting's bad...

 

once again thanks.. It worked like a charm.. unfortunately I havn't got a camera to show it..

 

 

Luther..

 

Could you combine the two ideas, a mainly silver metal canister with a window painted on the front to show some liquid but limit the amount of work required to show it

Folks understimate the power of Space Glass.

 

I wonder though why it's always too much trouble for these Marines to fill their viles up to the top.

 

The metal with window idea is cool *in theory*. Those things are so very small!!
