Chaos Chosen in Terminator Armour

Recommended Posts

For my Chosen in terminator armour, I have used the new plastic boxes together with a few parts from my spares box. Since they are the most veteran of all the Fallen troops, I have decided to tip my hat towards each of the ruinous powers. These pictures are work-in-progress, which is why there are missing shoulder pads, mould lines, etc.

Nurgle - the reaper autocannon is taken directly from an old metal terminator. The metal arms seem to lie better against the bodies if you remove the moulded shoulder from the plastic torso. The legs have been replaced with a resin Dungeon Crawler from Ainsty with the head removed and the gaps packed out with green stuff.

Khorne - the easiest of all the conversions, I have used a berzerker helmet and a doubled chain-axe for this figure. The combi-bolter is made from two standard bolters glued side-by-side. The left arm was a lightning shield arm with a berzerker hand and weapon glued to it.

Slaanesh - again, the combi-bolter is made from two standard bolters glued side-by-side. The armour plates have been studded using tiny beads from a craft shop. I drilled little recesses into the plates and then glued the beads into them. Apart from that, I tried to keep this marine with nice clean lines, which was why I chose to use the power sword.

Undivided - this time, one left handed (sinister) and one right handed. The thunder hammer is used as a power weapon, the combi-bolter is again built from a pair of bolters onto a chaos marine hand.

So... comments and suggestions are much appreciated.

They are Fallen Dark Angels... my intention is that they look almost imperial until I start to deploy my demons. On the other hand, I will be adding some edging to the shoulder plates and greaves, which shoul chaotic-ize them a bit.

My Webpage has more information on how I want them to look...

Cheers,

Colin

Hey Wulfric,

Long time no speak, hope your using those fallen in Medusa.

Aint been on your site in ages due to RL commitments, but they are looking amazing especially those Raptors. But as in the general consensus here they could do with something a lil more chaotic, even a few icons as I know you dont like mutations much, just needs summin more. Just as a side note if you decide to do a Tzeentchian Fallen dont just use the 1K Sons as imo they arnt the best way to show a "true" Tzeentch army due to the rubric.
