Tyrannicide
The first initiate with the power weapon, looks intimidating and menacing. All of the other members looks nice too. How did you create such a powerful walking pose with the initiates? sugar-free
assault legs, i just made a cut in the back of the leg that is bent and stretched it out then added green stuff http://img355.imageshack.us/img355/3992/ssca0008yz5.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/131619-bt-army-im-working-on/#findComment-1515877 Share on other sites

sugar-free
it's really easy, i am one of those guys that shy away from using green stuff. i just went for it and it worked just a little pricey, unless you have a lot of bits Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/131619-bt-army-im-working-on/#findComment-1515901 Share on other sites
Brother Bohemund
nice stuff! any chance of big pictures as you had them last time? And how did you do the collar on the assault marine? If its as easy as the repositioning of the legs I've to nick that Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/131619-bt-army-im-working-on/#findComment-1516134 Share on other sites

kapturowski
That sergeant looks really good. The warm colors of his robe works very well with the black armour. Brother Bohemund
thx for the pics but I had hoped for bigger pics from the new guys . Especially from the assault leader as I'm interested how you made the raised collar . Master Toddius
I really like the amount of detail you're putting into these guys. The extra bits of red and brown with white go a long way. The icons look really good hand painted. They have a knightly feel to them. That bolter flamer is actually very close to what I believe a one shot flamer-combi would look like, in my mind. It don't really see a need for a huge canister or alot of added space on the weapon. The scout has a nice balance to him as well. The brown cloth with black armor, red weapons, and white shoulder pads with black icons is a nice mix. The green lenses are appropriate as well. Red would be to close to the weaponry, and amber would be to bright, so i think the green is just right. :D The idea on the assault squad member of flipping the *edit typo: "collar" piece* around and have the added rear detail in front is a stroke of genius. Consider that idea stolen :) This will be a fun project to watch evolve. Great work thus far, bro. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/131619-bt-army-im-working-on/#findComment-1517333 Share on other sites
Comizzar
thx for the pics but I had hoped for bigger pics from the new guys :D. Especially from the assault leader as I'm interested how you made the raised collar . I may be wrong but it looks to me like it is the back half of a normal collar(piece right in front of the packback and behind the helmet) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/131619-bt-army-im-working-on/#findComment-1517354 Share on other sites
Tvayumat
The idea on the assault squad member of flipping the cod piece around and have the added rear detail in front is a stroke of genius. sugar-free
yes, the front guard is actually the back collar of a marine, i just cut and flipped it around.i had to do some work with the head to fit it in. Tvayumat
Yes, and I love what you did as far as the collar work.... it's just... not a cod piece... that would be awkward.
