1 IMPERIAL KNIGHTS - pure, but  their acid spit does not work and their geneseed negates psykic potential. 

 

2 GILDED demons - great magical power, and warp control, they are also the best metal workers. They are often smaller versions of morpheus

 

3 SONS OF MALICE - thier body is covered in dragon scales. 

 

4 GRIM REAPERS - they are great at terror tactics, their skin is as cold as ice, and they look like reanimated bodies 

 

5 FIRE ANGELS - they are great builders, and welders. their bodies can be covered in fire.

 

6 ARCHANGELS - they boost the morale of their troops. they have a great rage called the emperor's wrath, it believed to have been the feel of the betrayal at morpheus' hands.

 

7 BLUE TITANS - they are very strong. they are taller than any other marines.

 

8 SONS OF SHADIUS - they have grace and speed in battle. their flaw makes each one look feminine, as close to a girl's look as possible.

 

9 IRON FANG - great hunters. they look more tiger-like.

 

10 THUNDER LORDS - cover their bodies in lightening. they glow like a bug zapper in the dark.

 

11 VEIL PRIESTS - they are able to heal the dying, and their hair is blood red, and their eyes are cat-like.

 

12 HEAVENGUARD - they destroy their foes in bright lights.they look like golden men.

 

13 HELLGUARD - they are one with the shadows. they look a bit demonic.

 

14 WOLF SPIDERS - they 2nd to the golden devils in spells.they are also living bombs of warp energy, that could explode at their choosing. it does not kill them.

 

15 HYDRA - they fight as one, like a hive mind, always knowing what they other will do. they can regrow a missing limb.( except for the head, or internal organs)

 

16 SPECTRAL WARLORDS - they can become invisble to tracking. they have a aura, that makes them feel unatural.

 

17 POWER-WOLVES - they are great forgers, and benders of metal. their arms can be encased in metal in fights.

 

18 RED STAR - they are perfect for desert missions, as they require less, than any other spacemarine. their skin is rough, and bumped to blend with the desert enviroment.

 

19 SOUL RAVEN - they are fast, and have the power to fly without jetpacks.they gow large black wings.

 

20 WHITE FALCON - their skin is snow white, and they have keen eyesight like a falcon. they they are very protective of children.

 

21 GOLDEN EAGLE - they bathe their weapons in bright glow, and last longer in battle than most other marines. they are like loyalist beserkers.

 

22 DIREWOLVES - they feel no pain in battle, and are hard to kill. they grow more animalistic as they fight.

 

23 SILVER TEMPLARS - they are great siege masters, and use their power of sound to crush barriers. their bodies are like instructments.

 

24 IRON HEARTS - literally their hearts become iron, and they naturally produce combat drugs in their blood stream

 

25 LUNAR FANGS - eyes purple as the warp, more agile than the other legions

GRIM REAPER - RIGOR - was found deserted of life, or any sign of civilization.

LUNAR FANG - NEVERMORE - put to the sword by neptune himself, after he looted the entire planet.

SONS OF SHADIUS - Their world was turned into a demon world, and the symbol of slaanesh was carved into it by shadius himself, then his own symbol around that.

STATUS OF THE LOYALIST HOMEWORLDS 

 

POWERWOLVES - VALHALLA - the ancestral home of the power wolves, though only the pack that still has the legion name, makes its home there.

 

ARCHANGELS - TRINITY - the world has become a bit less colorful, after the rebellion, and Helios has spent alot of his time there.

 

BLUE TITANS - TITANUS - the least affected during the rebellion, and is used as a shrine world for imperial pilgrims.

 

HEAVEGUARD -  FUJI - destroyed by the hellguard during the exodus to the eye of terror

 

IRON FANGS -  LIONIO -  has a massive scar from a rebel ship crashing into it.

 

SOUL RAVENS -  MORDOR - abandoned by the ravens, after a mass corruption ritual doomed it.

 

 GOLDEN EAGLES - MECA -  the world was ripped in two by the direwloves, in revenge for the destruction of theirs.

 

WHITE FALCON - MESU - burned by the lunar fangs

 

IRON SCORPIONS - SWOR - the planet was half burned, by rebel forces

 

IMPERIAL KNIGHTS -  TEMPOS - the planet forever carries the scar of the psyker rebellion that took place there, with the collars burned into the center.

 

FIRE ANGELS -  phoeincia - turned into a shrine world/recruit world when pyros died there.

As for the neutral legion, the sons of malice. their homewolrd has not been found by anyone, aside from the gilded demons. and thats cuase they sent the sons there.

The battles where the primarchs fell that i already wrote aside from helios, morpheus, and primus will remain the same. Theses 3 i mentioned, will have have different circumstances. Oh, and for future references the traitor members of the imperial knights will no longer be called "dark templars" but instead shall be known as " the bad bloods".

PANTHEON WARS ACT 1 - NURGLE VS TZEENCTH 

 

 

PT 1

(THE SPECTRAL WARLORD SPLINTER)

 

Now that the fires of the rebellion had died down, and the rebel legions were trapped in the warp, things took a turn for the worst. Starting with the warlords, it began with the legion splitting into 3 factions. There was the faction dedicated to nurgle, god of plagues and disease. There are those who pledged themselves to the grand planner, tzeentch. The last of these groups was the largest, they were those who chose to stay unaffiliated with the gods of the warp, and the leader of this group was the legions very primarch. He did not care who his sons chose to worship, so long as they do not force it on their brothers. The gods that hold dual ownership of 2/3rds of the legion however, wanted the whole legion for themselves. Tzeentch spoke to the leader of his faction within the legion whose name was molag, and told him to cast a ritual to turn his primarch into a demon prince of tzeencth. Molag was promised with demonhood of his own if he succeeded. In the nurgle faction a marine named pontus, was given the same deal. The two got to work immediately, working all manners of dark magic into their rituals, each ready to reap their reward for claiming their primarch for their particular patron. Molag lured his gene-father to a "holy sight" on their homeworld, where he and other psykers of the legion that were in the tzeentch faction were waiting. Unknown to them but, pontus and the warriors in the nurgle faction were also doing the ritual at the same time. Drakon looked at his sons molag and pontus, with a calculating stare." why have you brought me here molag? and why are you here pontus? i told you, you may ask your brethren if they want to join your factions, but you were not to force them." molag replied " we are aware father and we understand" pontus spoke then " we wanted to talk to you about something, please have a seat" he indicates the throne where meetings are held. Drakon eyes them warily before taking a seat. The trap is sprung the moment he takes a seat.

 

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?" screamed drakon in rage.

 

"sorry father, but tzeentch has plans for you. BEGIN THE RITUAL" speaks molag with a grin.

 

"wrong! papa nurgle wants him in the family" pontus speaks as the nurglites began their ritual.

 

The two opposing forces trying take drakon for their respective patrons, were locked in a stalemate as they fought each-other and drakon fought them. It would have been terrible, but a terminator marine from drakon's faction, saw what happened and opened fire on the sorcerers casting the spell. The commotion attracted the other marines of the unaffiliated, who proceeded to open fire, killing the sorcerers on both sides, and surrounding their  primarch.

 

" are you okay my lord?"  asked moris, the terminator who shot the traitor brothers who assaulted their liege.

 

" those traitors, attempted to force me into their god's service, i've been changed but i barely managed to keep my soul. KILL THEM ALL!" drakon spoke.

 

The unaffiliated marines outnumbered the other factions 4:1 and they made certain their dislike of them. They opened fired upon each nurglite or tzeenctian, till they were down to 40 each. They were about to be wiped out, when drakon decided to be lenient. He walked to their group and ordered that their armor and weapons be striped, and that they were banished from the legion. The others quickly followed his orders and thus the civil war came to an end, and the factions that cuased this loss their geneseed and were sent away never to return.

PANTHEON WARS ACT 1 - NURGLE VS TZEENTCH 

 

PT 2

 

(GRIM REAPERS VS LUNAR FANG)

 

After the grim reapers escaped into the warp during the exodus, they gathered on a dead world, and began to rebuild their civilization, using the people from RIGOR to do it. The mortals quickly got to work on making the world habitable, never giving it a name, just working to build on it. The grim reaper marines watched over and guarded these people, from daemons to pirates to other marines. Charon oversaw the work from his ship, and insuring his men not undergo the mutations that normally go with service to the plague god. They said they would follow morpheus, but only mildly move with chaos. They halted diseases from spreading through their people, but kept 1 or 2, to use in their weapons. This they used to great affect against the foolish pirate or loyalist ship that ever got near their new home. It would be on the 40th "day" of their work, when the lunar fang legion came upon them. They came without warning, firing on the reaper's fortifications, and ships. Charon immediately called for firing on the main lunar fang ship.

 

( LUNAR FANG CAPITAL SHIP)

 

" soften them up with more torpedoes"  spoke Neptune from his command chair.

 

" aye my lord" spoke the gunners, as they began ripping up the reaper fortifications.

 

Neptune had struck a deal with tzeentch, so he could pillage for all eternity, tzeentch told him he would have it if he sacrificed a hundred souls to him. Neptune knew there was a catch, but he decided to take care of an old grievance between him and charon. After they took out the main guns, neptune ordered them to fight on the ground. They landed and immediately opened fire on the reapers moving to meet them. While that was going on, he was performing the ritual that would give him what he desired.

 

( GROUND WAR)

 

Charon lead the next charge on the lunar fangs, cold fury blazing in his eyes as he killed them. The lunar fang were many, but they were still no match for a primarch, he carved them apart with ice cold rage. The reapers rallied behind their gene-father, blasting apart the fangs with brutal efficiency. The fangs charged further and further into the fray. unleashing all manners of warp powers. The reapers responded with their own, the 2 sides slaughtering each-other in droves. Charon discovered one of the reaper thunder-hawks still operational. He fought his way to it, and headed straight for neptune's ship.

 

( LUNAR FANG COMMAND SHIP)

 

" the lunar lord, is up to something, i mean many of our brothers are dying down there." spoke 1 sorcerer

 

" why do you care about them? they're fighting a legion with it's primarch." replied a raptor.

 

The sorcerer would have retorted, but a grim reaper thunder-hawk burst through the wall killing him, and the raptor he was arguing with. From the cock-pit burst forth charon, he quickly made his way through the corridors of the ship, following the warp energy to its source. When he entered, he saw  neptune swirling in energy from the ritual. Neptune was sweating from his brow, and black veins pulsing across his skin. He glanced toward charon, before turning to face him.

 

 

"you're just in time for the "main event" charon." groaned neptune, like he was in pain.

 

" you attacked my planet and people without reason, why?" demanded charon, gripping his black force sword.

 

"you say that, like i need a reason, you're much to logical charon. i did this cause i felt like it." smirked neptune.

 

Charon enraged ran forward to slay neptune, only to stumble into a trap, the warp chains that were holding neptune surged forth and dug into charon. Neptune laughed as charon's strength was being drained into him.

 

" LOOK UPON ME CHARON! THIS IS THE POWER OF GODS!" howled neptune as he began changing.

 

He grew 2 dark blue bat wings, two long horns formed from the sides of his head, spikes formed the back, even his trident "trigon" became filled with warp energy.

As the transformation was nearing completion, down below a reaper marine fired a lucky plasma cannon round into the floor under charon. This not only released charon, but cause neptune to fall back, severing the link. Neptune quickly called for his sons to retreat, and zoomed off to their world. The lunar fangs that could follow did, the rest were butchered by the angry grim reapers. After all was done, they checked on their primarch. Charon slowly stood up, and began to plan. Thus ended act 1 of the pantheon wars.

PANTHEON WARS ACT 2 - KHORNE VS SLAANESH  

 

PT 1 DIREWOLVES VS IRON HEARTS

 

After the events of the exodus, the iron hearts dragged their planet into the warp, and have been making plans to steal slaves from the sons of shadius. Their primarch has been gathering resources from  raids, to accomplish this. Unknown to them, a large force of direwolves were on a collision course with their planet. They were changed after the last battle they fought against the traitor demon prince of khorne, becoming horrid beasts of war. They care not who or what they kill, only that blood is spilled, and skulls taken. This force contained the 2nd in command of the former legion, kratos "the wulfen". He was making an attempt to keep at least a somewhat unified army, and was using a ROK to travel the warp. He felt the need to spill blood same as the his kin, but he struggled with it, so as to not tear apart his own brothers. It would pure luck that would send them crashing into the iron heart planet. When they climbed out of the rubble and saw all the servants of slaanesh, he felt he could shout, and he did.

 

"KILL! MAIM! BURN! BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!" kratos shouted to the heavens as he charged forward, followed by his brothers.

 

"FOR THE PRINCE OF EXCESS!" the iron marines  yelled as they ran to meet them.

 

 

Luther was away on a raid, so he had no idea the slaughter happening on his world. The wolves laid waste to the statutes and shrines to the pleasure god, killing many iron heart marines, and slaves. They rampaged across the world, till the remaining iron hearts managed to finally push them off. The once strong iron heart legion was reduced to fractured groups across the land, and seeing that their father wasn't there to help them, and feeling that he didn't care about them. This caused many of those groups to flee the planet, spreading out into the warp, to make a name for themselves. When luther returned, he found his planet in ruins with the bodies of his sons, and those of the direwolves, and the fact that many of them abandoned the world and his command. This angered him, but he began to rebuild first, then he would seek out those sons who betrayed him and "teach them a lesson".

PANTHEON WARS ACT 2 : KHORNE VS SLAANESH 

 

PT 2 - SONS OF SHADIUS VS HELLGUARD

 

 

The failure of the rebellion was laid at the sons of shadius legion's feet. They and their lord were believed by some legions to be the reason they failed, chief among them was the hellguard, and their "god-king". The sons of shadius upon entering the warp, immediately came under fire from the hellguard. The two sides fought each-other across the warp, splintering into bands of warriors, until only the princes and their honor-guards remained with them.

 

"ASURA YOU FREAKING MORON!" raged shadius as he struck at asura.

 

" DIE YOU WORTHLESS MAGGOT!" asura howled as he slammed his axe onto shadius's shield and whip.

 

The 2 princes clashed blades with each-other ranting and raving at one-another. The 2 would come for one final clash, when they saw the veil priests zoom through. This distraction, allowed shadius and the sons who stayed with him, to escape asura's wrath. They fled to their homeworld turned daemon-world and recuperated there. 

 

THUS ACT 2 IS DONE.

PANTHEON WARS ACT 3: THE UNDIVIDED

VEIL PRIEST VS GILDED DEMONS

After the gilded demons made it into the "eye of terror" and claimed a world, they quickly rebuilt their civilization, and ensured the purity of their gene-seed and people. They erected powerful gellar fields on the planet, to cleanse it of warp-taint. They set pocket ones and had them attach to the ships and other things they'll need. The dragon priests of the legion carefully taught the psykic people of their home, all about what can be found in the warp and drilled in the dangers of it. They kept their experiments of replenishing their numbers, but they kept a stricter screening of the initiates, and using the massive population of trained psykers, to halt the influence and corruption of the warp. Vulgrim himself stays on this world, along with salazar to help keep the barrier up. Its at this moment, that the veil priest legion eventually stumbles upon them and Templas lands with his honor guard, to meet with the brother who showed him "the truth!".

" Morpheus? its good to see you still live my brother!" laughed templas upon seeing morpheus on arrival.

"ah hello templas, it is a pleasure to see you as well, but i wonder what happened to our brothers?" morpheus spoke concerned.

Templas stood next to morpheus and explained about all that has happened before they entered the warp, the news made him feel a variety of emotions; shock, sadness, pity, and finally fury. Templas sensed the feelings of his brother and stepped back to address them.

"what makes you feel these things morpheus?" said the now concerned templas.

"BETRAYED! THE HAVE BETRAYED US! i struck a deal for the power of the octed, but also that we would not be slaves, they are fickle monsters, no better then the emperor!" raged morpheus

Templas looked shocked at what he considered blasphemy from the brother who healed his broken faith, he then assumed this was a test by the lords of chaos, and he would not shirk from it.

"they have given us power, immortality, and could give so much more if we give ourselves to them. i mean you and chaos united us against the false emperor and his slave sons. we're free from his chains!" spoke the prophet lord.

Morpheus stared at templas, who felt like morpheus was staring into his very soul. It would be 5 minutes, before he spoke again.

"you call this freedom? that we're unchained? look at us! inu forced to kill his own sons, charon fighting against the plague master trying to force his legion's conversion. Neptune who sold the lives of his own sons for power, only to become the puppet of tzeentch! and then brother drakon, who was almost sent into that same slavery by his own sons. unity? you've all been killing each-other, FOR THOSE SO-CALLED GODS AMUSEMENT!" morpheus yelled at the end with fury, his eyes a burning glow.

Templas stepped back in a shock, and a bit of fear. He knows all to well the power of morpheus's anger, but he stands firm at last.

" the only legions still together that we know of, is mine, and yours. I intend to keep mine together, and i refuse to allow the "RUINOUS FOUR!" to take them from me, i'm already halting dante's descent towards the insanity of the "eight fold path". i will not allow any of them to be enslaved by the 4." morpheus spoke with conviction.

Templas, was blown away by all this, and grew angry himself before he calmed down."i'm no match for morpheus's strength, and i don't want his wrath turned on me or my sons" he thought. He bid morpheus goodbye, and left with his sons, while morpheus began ripping out the hooks of khorne from dante's soul.

Thus ends act 3.

PANTHEON WARS ACT 4 : REUNIFICATION 

 

 

Morpheus after establishing his new planet and the neighboring worlds to be free of the "ruinous four"'s touch, sent envoys to each of his brothers that sided with him, each envoy tailored to deal with the particular prince and legion. He waited for what seemed like days, months, years? its impossible to tell in the warp. He finally received word of his envoys returning, and only 3 marines were lost. They reported that his brothers and the rest of their shattered legions, were enroute to meet with him. They even found the hydra and spider legions, though it's believed they were waiting for them. Morpheus waits a bit more, and then he sees his brothers arriving 1 by 1. When all had landed, he moved to them and began talking.

 

 

"welcome my brethren, i believe you're wondering why i've gathered you all here? " morpheus said, looking at his brothers.

 

"yea, what do you want morpheus? and you better not be wasting my time brother or no." spoke shadius,

 

The others don't voice it, but they also want to know why he called them all back together.

 

"simple, you cow. we're going to attack the imperium again. AND!" he said this as the other princes begin with questions.

 

Morpheus continues his talking," we're going to use the very machine, the emperor invented to make travel between parts of the imperium safer, against him.

 

He shows them the web-way, the very gate the eldar used back in the days when they were still the most powerful race. He then explains his plan, telling each of them, their part in it. By the end of the presentation, he had swayed them all back under his banner. And with that, the traitor legions are reunite under the "daemon emperor".

 

In the back of the room, the talons of morpheus have brought up a new "grim-lock" into the fold. This has brought the strength of the talons back to full.

THE 1ST BLACK CRUSADE - REVISED

 

ACT 1: THE INVASION

 

The rebel legions haven't been seen in a thousand year, the imperium having forgotten the devastating war that was fought all the way to terra itself. The emperor having managed to finish his web-way project, has laid the foundation for his next phase in starving the chaos gods. His loyal sons (barring remus, whose body hasn't been found, and helios who refused the change) having broken down their legions according to the codex astartes written by the Dire wolf primarch. The imperial army has been divided into the guardsmen corps, and the imperial navy, thus is the new force of the imperium. The changes that were brought, were considered unnecessary, that the traitor legions had destroyed each-other in the "eye". Helios believed differently, but would hate how right he was. A great storm began gathering across the imperium, and the psykers began crying in agony. Helios's upon sensing the phenomenon, immediately took his legion to terra. The other primarchs, feeling the wrongness of the storm also went back to terra itself.

 

" FATHER! THE STORM, ITS-" helios yelled as he entered the palace, only for the emperor to silence with a raise of his hand.

 

" i felt a change in the warp, and your former brothers are returning" the emperor spoke.

 

The other primarchs arrived, and looked shocked at the news, till they remembered that they united before, and considering they haven't kill any of them, it stands to reason that they could still be brought together. They were discussing what could be done, when they received reports of chaos marines from the traitor legions, attacking the imperium in unheard of masses. The primarchs rushed outside to see what was going on by reading the reports, it seems that the direwolves, the hellguard, and the grimreapers were attacking the imperium. The primarchs rushed to fight off the attack, with their sons. It's just as the loyalist first engage the traitors, that they realize their mistake. The webway of the imperium, opened up, and out came the rest of the traitor legions guns a-blazing. The loyalist forces were caught in a trap, by both sides and fought desperately against the united front of the traitor marines. They eventually got out of the trap, with heavy losses,and retreated to surround terra and mars. So ends act 1.

1ST BLACK CRUSADE -REVISED   

 

ACT 2 : THE SIEGE

 

The imperium was again locked in a great war, this time the traitor marines had brought to bare the full power of their "gods"  and the corrupted machines of the dark mechanicum. The princes strode across the warzones as one united front this time, truly fighting together with morpheus at their head. The primarchs of the loyalist moved forward to meet them, at the head of their sons along with the sons of the raven-lord. Both sides clashed again on mars and terra, staining the ground with blood.

 

" DIE LOYALIST SCUM!" yelled inuyasha, as he struck down loyalist marines, then he proceeded to attack the eagle primarch.

 

" FOR FUJI AND THE EMPEROR!" The goldenheart strikes at asura, trying to gain vengeance for his fallen home-world.

 

" FOR THE RAVENLORD!" screamed the soul ravens and their descending chapters, running into the lines of the lunar fang.

 

 These were just a few of the battles fought on mars and terra. The might of the primarchs and warriors, a sight to behold. The battles on mars, were hectic as the dark mechanicum fought to reclaim mars, from the  fire angels and other forces who stole it from them. They were backed by the hydra and spider legions, while the angels had the power-wolves at their back. On terra, the rest of the legions on both sides were slaughtering each-other, save 2. The archangels and the gilded demons were missing from the battlefield. Morpheus and his sons had instead infiltrated the imperial palace with the intent to face the emperor himself. This plan was derailed by the archangel legion with helios at their head. This time no words were exchanged, and the forces charged.

 

Morpheus struck first, swinging "ALDUIN" into helios's side, flat end turned to him. Helios retaliated with his power-sword "sigmar" by slamming it into morpheus's leg. The pain was quickly blocked by his psykic abilities, which he also used to banish helios into a wall. He began binding ethereal chains to hold helios in place, so he could confront the emperor uninterrupted.

 

"i really wish you had joined me brother, despite everything i can't bring myself to truly harm you. you despite your decisions were a true brother, till you made said decisions." morpheus after saying his piece, left to go through the titan doors of the throne-room, and confront his father. thus ends act 2.

1ST BLACK CRUSADE - REVISED 

 

ACT 3: THE FATHER FACES THE SON

 

 

Morpheus bust down the doors of the golden-throne, alduin in his hands. He gazed into the eyes of the master of mankind, both knew the fate of humanity would be decided this day.

 

 

"morpheus" the emperor said, his burning sword in hand.

 

"valten" spat morpheus, showing his spite, by calling the emperor by his real name, raised alduin for the battle to come.

 

The two look at eachother for a moment more, and then they struck.

 

" you will finally fall, and your failures will expunged from hu-MANITY!" morpheus yelled the last part as he swung alduin.

 

" i admit i have made mistakes, but you made a deal with treacherous beings, and look what they brought you, nothing but RUIN!" THE emperor shouted back as he thrusts with his "star saber" parrying morpheus's halberd, and continuing with a punch to the face.

 

" you're one to talk, you intentionally created the flaw in the thunder warriors, and when they had finished their purpose, you betrayed and locked them away. how are you any different from them!" morpheus said and he kicked the emperor away, and followed up with slamming the back of the  into the emperor's chest.

 

They argued back and forth with words and blows, the palace shuddering under their titanic battle.  Meanwhile, helios was struggling to get free, he could feel the force of the battle in the throne-room, and knew he had to get free. He struggled more and more as the chains were breaking, he knew it was the emperor's doing, and he quickly hurried to aide him.

 

Back in the throne-room, morpheus started using his psykic ability to slam the emperor around the room like a rag down, bearing down on him with all his might, until he had the emperor pinned to the floor, with alduin in hand.

 

 

" this is the end for you emperor, now di- AAAAHHHH!" morpheus yelled the last part when a power-sword came out of his chest, he looked back and saw helios was free and was the one plunging sigmar through his back. he then lowered his head to morpheus's ear.

 

" you should have killed me, morpheus." helios whispered as he pulls sigmar out with 1 thrust.

 

Morpheus covered the wound with his hand, and moved away before helios or the emperor could strike him. He knew he was outmatched wounded as he was, and so he retreated, helios in hot pursuit after making certain the emperor was alright. Morpheus ran through the halls, his sons joining up with him, upon seeing his wound. By the time he made it back to the other traitor legions, he fell to the ground from his wounds. He reached out to his brothers who had fought with him for so long.

 

" help me, we need to get out of here" he said, and was puzzled when none of them stepped forward.

 

The other primarchs stared at morpheus and then turned their backs on him, leaving him to his fate. Morpheus disbelief turned into fury, and he cursed them for this, saying that they shall never again be welcomed by any, and that they shall suffer for this. He then turned his attention to they loyalist forces surrounding him and his sons. He stood up, his rage exploding from his body, and gripping alduin tightly as the loyalist opened fire. this ends act 3

ACT 4: THE UNFORESEEN BETRAYAL

 

The loyalist all opened fire upon morpheus and his legion, only thing keeping them from being mulch was morpheus's psykic shield halting the bullets. The gilded demons stood closer to their morpheus, like children to their parent, except these sons would fight to protect their father. The loyalist legions seeing that their weapons were useless, resorted to their melee weapons and charged forth towards the gilded demons. The primarch in the lead of the loyalist warriors was morpheus's once favored brother and twin, helios.

 

"FOR THE EMPEROR, AND TERRA!" shouted helios and the loyalists following him.

 

"PROTECT THE DRAGON EMPEROR! FOR OUR FATHER!" shouted kwylo, which was taken up by the other marines of his legion. They charged as well, and soon the area was bathed in the sounds of battle, as the loyalists and the sons of morpheus fought and died. Morpheus himself just stood there, gone to the world, he would have stayed that way if he hadn't heard the screams of dante, who took a chain-sword to the shoulder. Morpheus snapped out of it, and engaged the loyalists as well, his only desires being protecting his sons, and making those who hurt them pay.

 

" BURN! LOYALIST DOGS! BURN IN CRIMSON FIRE!" morpheus screamed as he bathed his foes in warp fire.

 

His sons emboldened by the display, fight even harder. They kill with gun,sword, and sorcery. They spare no loyalist, even killing the officers who attempted to fall back. Helios enraged, spread his wings and tackled morpheus to the ground, his own psykic power  spreading across his wings, giving them an ethereal glow. He began punching morpheus with his power fist, only halting to bat kwylo aside when he tried to intervene. Kwylo landed on the ground in a heap and stopped moving. After that time seemed to slow down for morpheus as he saw his sons fighting, DYING! for him.

 

"no..nO...... NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!" morpheus howled as his eyes blazed with power, the howl heard by all and would be the nightmare of many.

 

Morpheus grabbed helios's fist, and broke it. Helios got off him in pain and surprise, before morpheus was on him. Morpheus using his full power, began batting the primarchs and their marines like flies to wind. He gripped helios by the neck, and slammed him into the ground on his front. He then grabbed helios's wings, and with a great and terrible roar, TORE! them from the "angel" 's back. The psykic scream heard from helios at that moment, left a greater scar in the sons of the arch-angel's sons. Morpheus  was about to finish helios off when he was assaulted by the combined psykic might of the fire angels, heavenguard, and the soul raven librarians. It was at this moment, that a ship bearing the markings of the 9th legion, touched down and fired on the librarians, morpheus though wounded gathered his remaining sons, carrying dante and kwylo himself into the ship as they left through the web-way. They returned to the planet of the sorcerers, where morpheus was dying. Kwylo in a stroke of genius, used the dragon throne to keep morpheus alive, though he couldn't leave the throne. It kept morpheus alive, and due to him working on his far longer then the emperor worked on the golden throne, his body won't atrophy. The psykic backlash morpheus produced warped his sons, causing the talons to ascend to a higher form. It was similar to a daemon prince but they could feel their souls attaching to morpheus, it seems his deal for the full power of the warp and the psykic rage, changed him. The eternal flame that the legion built based off the furonian belief, exploded and surrounded the dragon throne. This caused the marines and all the people of the planet to kneel, believing that in morpheus suffering the blows and the overload, brought him up as a god. This idea spread quickly across the planet, and now morpheus has become the dragon emperor, and his sons have ascended as well thanks to their proximity to him, when the overload occurred. They underwent transformations themselves. It started with dante, his rage and anger at failing to be there for his father, and the cursing of his weak form, turned him onto a centaur-like creature, with his body encased in fire. The others began transforming, and gaining new titles to go with it. After their "ascension" they looked to their father for what to do,  Morpheus looked at them and said, " its time for one of you to take the reins of the legion."

 

"but who father? which of us would it be?" vulgrim, asked of his gene-sire.

 

" all 5 of you shall share the role." morpheus told them.

 

This puzzled them, until morpheus explained further. He made vulgrim the the healing talon, he who ensures the future generations of the legion, salazar was made the talon of knowledge, who would protect their ways from degrading, and ensure all the legion knows their ancestry. For grimlock, he made the watcher of the faith. Its to ensure those who believe him a god, don't get too fanatical. Dante will be the WAR KING, he who fights alongside the legion, like morpheus before him. Finally,, he makes kwylo master of the forge, and keeper of the flame, to stand guard against those who would attempt to end the flames that protect their souls, or to destroy morpheus. This duty can be shared with the others, as morpheus has described, and so it was. Meanwhile on terra, helios was being hooked up to the golden throne, to stop the rampant warp energy from destroying terra. It is he who now powers the astronomican, and stays in constant battle with morpheus, while the emperor deals with the chaos gods. this is the last act of the black crusade, and the begining of the long war.

THE TALONS OF MORPHEUS - ASCENDED VERSION

 

 

DANTE - THE WAR KING 

 

He has gained the power of hell-fire to burn his enemies, fueled by his own hatred. He carries the burning blade, that was once his power-sword, now turned into a blade of pure hate. He shares his tasks with kwylo, when it comes to leading the legion, often they are considered the twin lords of the newly named crimson dragons. He was adamant about making the warriors who abandoned morpheus and the, pay. He talked with all his brothers, and it  was decided that he would guard morpheus, while kwylo went to get revenge.

SALAZAR - THE ANCIENT ONE

He now keeps the tradition of the orginal furonians, training them psykers and other mystic users, the traditons and how to control their powers. He watches over them just as his father did and does.

GRIMLOCK - THE DRAGON PROPHET

 

He  in his ascension, has been considered proof like his brothers, that morpheus was divine. He also fostered the hatred in their hearts against the loyalists and the betrayers of their lord. He deals with anyone who become overzealous, and keeps a good rein on them. He stayed on the planet to continue to teach the next generations.

VULGRIM - THE GENE COLLECTOR

 

He now ensures that the genetic legacy of morpheus, lives on forever. He uses the knowledge taught to him by morpheus, so he can create true legionaries as he and the others had been born. He also remains on the planet of the sorcerers for this reason.

KWYLO - THE FORGE LORD, AND KEEPER OF THE FLAME

 

He is now the creator of the tech and machines used by the legion, and intends to extract bloody retribution on those who betrayed his lord. He also took the title of the legion's leader, after convincing his brothers of his intentions. The idea was to place the target squarely on him, so they wont target the other 3 so much, well more then they normally would. And it is he who fills the most enraged, and with his power, he intends to have vengeance.

 

This is the new forces on the chess board of "the great game" and they play across both sides, while their father battles in the warp.

DRAGON'S WRATH

 

ACT 1: GATHER THE BROTHERS

 

After morpheus was placed on the dragon throne, the remaining warriors of the 9th legion, wondered what to do. Some argued, that they should increase gene-seed production, a few demanded they go and make the traitors pay, though the irony was not lost on them. And still others wanted to wait and see what the talons would decide, seeing as they were the honor guard of morpheus. They waited for the 4 to come out, it caused great concern and confusion when they came out looking like daemon princes. After kwylo explain what had happen, and why they felt the call to kneel. He went on to say what their father had told them, it is here that dante made his call for revenge.

 

" we should bring the fight to those traitors!" Said dante

 

"We do not have the numbers, we must rebuild first" vulgrim cautioned.

 

"I'm of a mind with dante, we must attack while we have the element of surprise." Grimlock added.

 

" that would be worthless without the numbers or the machines we use. Would u have us all go into a suicidal. Charge!?" Shouted Salazar.

 

The legion was split on the decision. Those who wanted to strike now, stood with dante and grimlock. The ones who wanted to rebuild their legion first, stood with Salazar and vulgrim. Both sides were shouting and arguing, some where even pulling out weapons.

 

"ENOUGH!"a voice roared out, silencing the debate.

 

Everyone turned to see kwylo in a rage, he looked at every person there with a scowl.

 

"That's exactly what they want us to do, break down and start killing eachother. Both sides have valid arguments, I have spoken with morpheus and we came to a decision. Vulgrim and grimlock will ensure we have plenty of new recruits, dante and Salazar will make sure they're trained. I will be leading a force to get retribution for what the betrayers have done" stated kwylo as he selects 300 demon marines to go with him. The first act is finished. Now comes act 2.

DRAGON'S WRATH ACT 2 

TEACH the servants if blood fear.

Kwylo led the 300 warriors he selected through the warp, seeking out the followers of Khorne. He intends to teach them a lesson that all will soon learn, don't break a pact with a dragon.

Inuyasha was leading his mad sons on a world embroiled in war, chaos on one side, Imperial on the other. It's here,that the gilded demons arrived. Kwylo and his 300 brothers, watched the fighting with disdain. They watched as the loyalist forces consisting of a descending chapter of archangels, supported by the golden eagle "chapter" assault the daemon primarch himself. Inuyasha was surrounded by his bloodthirsty sons, bellowing his challenge to the chapter masters of the 2 forces. All will be surprised with who answers instead.

 

 

" COME ON! COME AND FACE ME, ANY WHO DARES TO CHALLENGE THE CHOSEN OF KHORNE!" bellowed inu to all sides.

 

He looks amongst the imperials, seeing the 2 chapter masters about to advance when he heard it.

 

"i'll accept your challenge traitor" said a voice.

 

Inu turned to face the owner of the voice when his eyes widen at the person.

 

"m-m-morpheus? you LIVE!?" said inu bewildered.

 

Kwylo noticing inu's belief that he was his father, uses this to his advantage.

 

"you really thought i would be done in by the loyalists? you will pay for abandoning me, and breaking your body will do for a start." kwylo said mimicking morpheus's voice perfectly.

 

The chapter masters stare at the 2 traitors, though they were wary of inu, none could tear their eyes from "morpheus" the masters talk amongst themselves.

 

ridge(of the golden eagles): i can't believe its him, no one has heard or seen him for 10,000 years!

 

Michael : he's the one who tore our gene-sire's wings from his back, and forced him into the golden throne. ANGELS OF VENGEANCE! ATTACK!

 

The AoV chapter charged forth, firing at "morpheus" thoughts full of revenge for their father's suffering. The golden eagles not far behind them. The gilded demons that came with kwylo, instantly opened fired on the loyalist chapters. Kwylo's battle-brothers playing along with the game kwylo is playing.

 

"FOR MORPHEUS! KILL THE SONS OF WINGLESS ONE!" shouted a demon captain by the name of alucard.

 

The 300 gilded demons fought back the 2 chapters, while kwylo takes care of inu.

 

(KWYLO VS INUYASHA)

 

kwylo : are you ready to beg for your life like a dog? (he grins, and grips his "dragon-forged" blade)

 

Inu: NEVER!!!!(he charges at kwylo, aiming his axe to impale him)

 

(FIGHT BEGINS)

 

Inuyasha thrusts his axe, spear tip first. Kwylo blocks it with his sword( known as "oath-keeper" ) and plunges it into inu's leg." RAAAAHH! " inu howled in rage, he knocked kwylo backwards with his axe, and ripped oath-keeper out of his leg." TIME TO DIE MORPHEUS!" inu ran at kwylo, the desire to spill blood blinding him completely. He swung both his axe and oath-keeper, only for the latter to burst in "holy" fire, and causing him pain. Kwylo summoned oath-keeper back to him, jumping at the same time. Inu roared his frustration, only to howl in agony as kwylo slices off his right arm. " CURSE YOU!" he cried, picking up his axe with his other arm. The two faced off again, kwylo performs a side-step, and cuts off inu's leg. This caused inu to fall onto the ground, where kwylo lost control and began chopping. He chopped off inu's remaining leg and arm, began burning the wounds shut. He then looked down at inu, fury in his eyes.

 

" i told you, you would pay inu" kwylo said as he swung oath-keeper down.

 

"morpheus NO!" was inu's last words, before kwylo beheaded him, banishing him back to the warp for 1,000 years.

 

Kwylo then turns his attention to the loyalist troops fighting with his battle brothers. He storms forward and using his now enhanced psykic power, to blow a hole in the area the loyalists were using for cover. Michael upon seeing kwylo, ran forward with his power sword.

 

"FOR ANGELIC KNIGHT!" michael shouted, the "angel's wrath" exploding from his body.

 

" i'll send you back to him, IN PIECES!" kwylo yelled the last part as he cleaved michael in 2.

 

" my...soul..goes... t-t-to m-my... f-f-fat- "  michael is cut off, by kwylo's boot smashing his skull.

 

"your soul shall burn in the black pits, for your father can not reach you." kwylo laughed, as he and the 240 gilded demon marines returned to the planet of the sorcerers.

 

The remaining marines of the loyalist chapters gather together, and leave the planet, but the AoV, swore to find and slay "morpheus" for the deaths he had caused.

After kwylo and the marines returned, the other 4 talons gathered in morpheus's throne-room to hear what happened. 

 

" he actually thought you were me? ha! you always did look like a perfect clone of me, except for your eyes." said morpheus, laughing at the idea.

 

" you humiliated inu infront of his warriors, and in the eyes of his god, good enough" grumbled dante.

 

" you made him look bad, and by proxy khorne. good show" grimlock laughed.

 

"what will you do now? the other traitors will assume you're father, and they may attack us here." said a worried vulgrim.

 

"you are right, but we have no way to move father from the throne without possibly killing him." said  kwylo.

 

" you won't have to, i have an idea" morpheus said to all of them.

 

They all looked at their gene-sire, and as one, ask "what is it?". Morpheus grinned, and using a bit of his power, altered them all to look like him, when they choose.

 

"now you all look the part, so you can lead your brothers. i must remain here, due to my connection to the warp." morpheus said.

 

" we 5  must decide the legion's future" kwylo stated.

 

They all talked, before it was decided, dante would stay to guard morpheus on the "shrine world" and the other 4 would go on to reforge the legion. Morpheus approved of their plan, and thus the gilded demons became the crimson dragons, and began spreading their faith amongst the humans separated from the imperium. They would march into the stars, leaving dante and the "arisen" to watch over the shrine world and their dragon-emperor morpheus. They will also continue their vengeance against the others who betrayed them.

DRAGON'S WRATH 

 

ACT 3 - FINAL VENGEANCE

 

Kwylo being given the title crimson king, prepared the reforged legion, to deal with the traitors, before the legion can truly be healed. He scouted the warp for word on the other traitor legions, and upon finding them, made his hatred known. He found them one by one, and brought brutal retribution.

 

 

HELLGUARD

 

He tracked them down, and froze the daemon world they called home, he then systematically used magic to shut down the nerves of each hellguard, so they could feel no sensation be it pain or pleasure. He left asura, a shivering mess on the floor.

 

 

IRON HEARTS

 

Vulgrim  broke down their arts, and machines, bringing luther to his knees, with his psykic strength, and made him watch it all burn.

 

 

LUNAR FANGS

 

Grim-lock took this one, he used a data-daemon to turn the lunar fangs' own ships against them. After which he blasted the fang's mother-ship with a planet killer, neptune barely escaped, and lost many of his sons.

 

 

GRIM-REAPERS

 

Salazar took care of this one, he used ancient magic to burn the souls of each reaper marine, destroying their corpses, so charon couldn't raise them. He also targeted the necromancers of the legion, killing many of them.

 

 

SONS OF SHADIUS

 

Vulgrim took center stage on this one, he did a similar job that was done on the iron hearts, but he specifically targeted all the statutes to shadius, and even ruined the "tag" on the planet. He then scarred shadius' face, with his rune blade.

 

HYDRA & SPIDER

 

This was a 2 for one, which kwylo took. He placed some of his brothers in the armors of the 2 sides, and had them cause infighting amongst the 2 traitor legions. This madness led the 2 primarchs into a slug fest, resulting in animosity between the 2 legions. This also left them weak, allowing the crimson dragons to send both groups running.

 

SILVER TEMPLARS

 

This one, was dealt not by any of the dragon marines, but by the paranoia that affected darius after hearing what happened to the others. He began scanning his sons for the barest hint, of being "1 of them". He kills them without hesitation should he find "1". and as such his own sons began fleeing from him.

 

 

VEIL PRIEST

 

This one, grimlock took upon himself, he personally led the charge on the priest's homeworld. They destroyed statutes, temples, relics, symbols, anything dealing with the chaos gods was destroyed. It's in the main temple, that grimlock manifests the real morpheus(as he is viewed by his followers) and with their combined power, banished the daemons of the world into non existence. With this legion broken, the others were easy pickings.

 

FINAL VENGEANCE

 

With all the legions that betrayed them punished, the crimson dragons can now begin the process of really rebuilding their legion. This ends the dragon's wrath.
