I would love some power weapon vets with pistol options in mk10 armor.(cause gravis armor is fugly). How about a Melta version of Hellblasters with 18" S9 AP -4 dmg D6 meltaguns. The Overlord would be cool. For rules how about some basic options like Melta bombs, plasma pistols and such.

This is our hobby so you really don't have to except any new fluff you don't like. Hell I started in RT and I refused to change my DA to green so still to this day all of my approximately 15k of DA still rock the black 1st legion armor. I also prefer the old Templar fluff and no matter how bad GW wants me to include witches in my army , it will never happen. I'm not going to argue with people about who's fluff is right or wrong. My Templars will always revere the Emperor as the leader of humanity(not a god) and burn witches.

The way I see it is if enough people ask for a codex the better the chances are that you might get something. Maybe not an entire codex but even some rules in a war zone book would be cool.

I did mine too. Hell I asked for a whole BT codex. It will be a cold day in Helsreach, I know but go big or go home.

Like most of the new fluff I will just ignore it. This little change pisses me off. With every single other chapter you can have filthy witches so why couldn't they just leave it that way. Was there a big cry out for Templars to take them. I didn't want them and won't be using them either. BT burn witches not buddy up with them

You are correct sir. This is probably one of my least favorite things about 8th. All vehicles no longer have to line up shots from their weapons. It's LoS from the hull so weapons can basically shoot through themselves at what ever target they want. Facing doesn't matter any more.

After going over the leaked stuff and sleeping on it. I must say I'm more than a little disappointed. Both DW and RW lost everything that made them good and gained almost nothing. We lost all our relics and half our psychic powers with what we have left sucks balls. This edition is starting to look like 3rd ed with all the book keeping of 2nd.

Uber-grit is better on vets than tacs if it's one or the other. Both is best. I personally always take it on all units that I can but that's just me. Despoilers rule!!
