    Am I missing something or just an oblivious idiot, while assembling my Vexilla I accidentally put a shield in his off (left) hand. Looking at the rules, he can't have a shield, only a MC power sword or sentinel warblade. However, I see no left handed warblade in the kit....What's everyone doing for their Vexilla armament? This has been driving me insane since I realized my mistake! This is what happens when you assemble models before you receive the rulebook.

    Augustus, I don't know how you manage to so consistently knock things out with such skill but I am forever envious. I adore the Typhon, and honestly think I like it better without the sponsons because the covers you made are so bloody unique.

    You're missing crucial wargear, specifically melta bombs and solarite gauntlets. Dropping 2-3 bodies throughout the list will alow you to kit out each unit better to take on anything. Also, without having the book, I wasn't aware that Spears and praesidium shields worked together on units like the Hetaeron.

    Really excited for the Aquilon Terminator models whenever it is they get released. Very frustrated with the delivery issues regarding through Achillus as well.

    How do you guys think it would fare with a unit of firepike terminators? Fly up to an objective in terrain, dump out termies, pour on some hellfire and clear the objective. Or are Aquilon better suited to DS/infiltrate?

    This thread is enlightening. Little frustrated I went through the trouble of buying a Coronus when it really isn't a necessary transport-especially without an assault ramp. That money seems to be better spent on Caladius or more dreadnoughts.

    Or, and this is what I planned to do at some point, is paint them up as Luna Wolves, use the SoH rules, and run Loken as your HQ. The SoH rules are perfectly fine for running a LW based army and that includes using the Warmaster and their special units imo.

    So without having the book yet it's looking like the rule of thumb is units of 3 (I'm assuming points related) and at least one solarite gauntlet per unit so they can tackle pretty much whatever they encounter? Edit: also, anyone know where I can find some bases that would pass as the Imperial palace?

    Thanks, Black_out! It's pretty inpsiring to do, actually, so I do recommend it. I'd be honoured if I could name one of your guys :) i agree , how do you come up with names for everyone? I don't! I ask other to name the miniatures and the name plus the finished marine give me a sense of their character, which gets the creative juices flowing. You're most welcome to name the last unnamed marine in XIV squad, the flamer specialist. :) When I get around to it you'll have the honor of being the first, I believe it's only fair after I've already had the opportunity to name several of yours!
