  1. This certainly has me intrigued.
  2. For April, I, Khulu, vow to paint one armiger warglaive:
  3. Welcome! The terrain looks great. Can't wait to see your Tyranids!
  4. My Scars would be ecstatic if they made plastic Outriders and Javelins. Never gonna pay FW prices for Outriders!
  5. Wife gave me most of the day yesterday without kid duty so I got this done pretty quick: Went fully metallic on the cyberhawk because I didnt know how else to paint it. Really enjoyed this model!
  6. For the month of March: I, Khulu, vow to paint one WS Praetor.
  7. Finished my plasma squad, finally. Gotta decide what's next!
  8. Welcome! Glad you found someone. A good group is probably the most important part of the game.
  9. Ouch. Trying to avoid new projects but these are my favorite Mechanicum bots. These look amazing!
  10. Started painting these and then after I finished my freehanding, remembered to take a picture. Not much left now but some highlights and the bases but for the month of February I, Khulu, vow to finish this plasma tactical support squad:
  11. Welcome! Looking great so far!
  12. I should hop on the titan finishing bandwagon and make a plodding along vow for my own: Need extra motivation to keep working on this
  13. I always prime, but I wear a mask with a filtration thing for it. I also build most stuff before painting. I would not mix Nuln Oil with Leadbelcher before painting. Washes don't have the same kind of consistency as base paints. The Nuln is supposed to go on super thin to just shade recesses. If you mix them ahead of time it could mess up the consistency of the Leadbelcher and wouldn't pool in recesses to add that shade. Different paints are sometimes meant to be used completely differently. Contrast paints are not applied the same way as Leadbelcher, hence the difference in consistency.
