A quick update, more just to show that this project is still alive than anything...
I wanted some heavy weapons troopers. Desolation Marines seemed like a good fit, or Devastators if points are tight, or maybe even Long Fangs (if the field manual ever actually has points for them).
However, like most people with a modicum of taste, I don't like the Desolator minis. On the other hand, I love the HH missile launchers, and especially the Proteus II pat
The Clan Council
The Clan Council meets in a well protected chamber deep beneath the Marines Adamant Fortress Monastery on Halstarrig's primary moon. A great circular amphitheatre divided into ten tiered sectors, one for each of the mighty Clan Households, leads down to a hub-like central platform where a speaker can be heard by all.
