Well, it's been a while! I've been busy with other projects, but now the weather is improving, I really want to get back to my Marines Adamant!

With that in mind, I've finally finished a centre piece build for the army, my Logan Grimnar counts as…

Warleader Isgrimnur Ironheart

As you can see, he's built from Caanok Var, with a multitude of SW bits and a fair bit of scratch built plastic and GS sculpting, not least of which getting a high enough scenic base to match Logan! I'm pretty happy with him though, I feel like he's a good mix of the techy IH Successor and savage/feral Homeworld?

The Shield is supposed to be a Chapter Relic, belonging to Elvrit, Iron Hand and first Warlord of the Marines Adamant, hence the shape in his personal sigil - that would become the Chapter badge.

I was pleased that Caanok Var's bolter fits! Obviously Logan has the wrist mounted version, but I thought it was an opportunity to give him a more IH servo-arm mounted weapon?
