So Mother-In-Law is still in town for a little longer but will be moving out here Mid January, as her and her husband's place will be finished 1st of the year and only 90 second drive away from My wife, kids, and me.    With her here, helping with our newborn (1 month old today) adopted Daughter and the boys, I took full advantage of building some models....or more of working on models.      They are not attached to bases but will be pinned to them for durability.

Hallowed Conclave coming in hot!

Well today I have my month 4 (of 6)  2000 pt HH LGS League Game against my buddy  @The_Oni_of_Hindsight today so my Raven Guard vs his Iron Warriors.  But we also are gonna play a 40k as well, He is probably bringing his Death Guard to fight my Grey Knights at 1500 points. I wont be using my True scales as they are still work in Progress but I have plenty of painted Grey Knights to take.

Rites of Armoring

"I am the Hammer!"   The armoring serfs are putting on body glove. The Fiber muscles will enhance my strength. The body glove will allow me to interface with my armor. It will protect me and help me remain stable, and interface with my weapons.    "I am the sword in His hand."   Next is my Aegis Terminator armor. The Powered Exoskeleton, has been worn by my Brothers before me. Their names are etched inside the chest armor to remind me that I am not Immortal.

So my Gaming Group/ Club Metal Head Armory  moves into month 3 of the LGS Heresy Slow Grow League, as individuals outside of playing each other in the League games we have lost every game.  But some of them are epic fun loses.    We have 4 more months to go but we are looking for our next Club game. Horus Heresy has been taking up a lot of my hobby time. And that is not a bad thing. I do really like my Raven Guard with a planned Sisters of Silence allied force. I am also building Solar Auxilia (eventually- have the models) and building all my Mk II/ Mk III and Saturnine stuff into Space Wolves. 2 games down....Time to shelve Grey Knights for a little bit

Had 2 games this Saturday   1st game Emperor's Children I won 6-2 but was tabled photos can be seen here   2nd Game was against World Eaters, Lost 3-1....severely wounded Dreadknight Geraint choosing to leave the battlefield after turn 2 here   Grey Knights need lots of help. Points are way too high, and damage output too low.  So until Codex is released, they have to be shelved.

Teleport Strike Countdown: T Minus - 3 Days

3 more days.....and In those 3 days I was just barely able to put down a nuln oil on the base last night due to family commitments. Should be able to do metal, bone, highlight dry brushes, rust effects, put down tufts, then water/ sewer paint effects over then next 2 days so Dreadknight #2 will be done

We are 6 days out until Game day.... And well Friday, was wife's birthday so no hobby time.  Saturday and Sunday tho...   Starting with Dreadnought- Colors getting blocked out,   Then washed and on to highlights     Dreadnought weapons Done (1 of 3 models completed)   Now to Brother Captain             And Brother Captain Liam De Harcourt done (model 2 of 3)

Teleport Strike Countdown: T Minus - 8 Days

Well 2 of my (adopted step) sons had Kindergarten Graduation last night so, instead of an hour+ paint time, I got about 30 minutes. I painted purity seals, scrolls, book pages (I forgot the book on the Brother-Captain's belt), and the browns.            With today being wife's birthday, not sure how much I'll get done tonight but I'll have more time Saturday.

Well with my 1500 point game vs @The_Oni_of_Hindsight's World Eaters and another friend's Khorne Daemon army coming up in now 9 days, it is time to get cracking on the 3 models I need to paint: Nemesis Dreadknight, Venerable Dreadnought Weapons, and Custom Brother Captain. Armored Support acquired......

So I have a problem with my Grey Knights.....a Land Raider problem       So I have 4 Land Raiders...and I think I have 2 more to build (Phobos and Redeemer)...Or had   While on my 19 day Honeymoon in the UK/ Ireland, one of the many stops was in Warhammer World and I left with this kit....     While the rules don't exist for these or if Grey Knights have these....Mine will. I will make them more Grey Knight looking, hopefully.

So there I was working on my Adepta Sororitas  painting my Retributors and building my Sanctifiers (which are finally done). Next thing I know, my Adepta Sororitas are back in display cabinet and Grey Knights are on the table! They just teleported on to my desk…I swear.    See I swore. Reinforcing the Hammer, the preface

Wow, It is December already.....    As I look toward 2025, I am thinking what the future holds in the Terms of the Hobby.  I know part of the Hobby will be going to Warhammer World (and maybe a stop at Element Games has been suggested) in April/ May 2025 as part of my honeymoon excursion across England, Scotland and Ireland. Back in June 13, 2023 I posted about building 5 Land Raiders (here). Well outside of the weapons, I only built a Hybrid Mk IIb Land Raider (Forgeworld, GW, and Blood and Skulls back vents and tracks)  for my Purifiers.        Well playing with different builds and needing Lascannons to deal with armor threats,  another Land Raider was in order.     Finally using the FW brass etch from years gone by plus FW Grey Knights Doors
