    So am I back from Indiana. I have to head back to move In-Laws into a Retirement Center, in a few weeks. And of course everything goes sideways at work moment I get back. So hobby time has been non existence.     Wrapping Wreckas

    Hit the throttle on the Wreckas last week. I've been painting pretty slowly this year all things considered, decided to change that with this project. Finished up free-hand on a few items, got the squigs painted up, did the bases and oil washes last week resulting in a final project I'm pretty happy with!    I dug out some of the leftover terrain bits I had from the sector imperialis/Chalnath terrain. Tortuga True Scale Project Grey Knights Update 1

Continuing with my Tortuga Grey Knight builds I finally have my 1st squad built.....minus greenstuff for shoulder pads, attaching heads and back packs.    Interceptor Squad     I'm adding green stuff balls to the inside of the shoulder pads to give them more bulk, and the heads are off for the psychic glow effect, an back packs are not attached so I can get the backs done.   As my gaming group is going to run 500 pt games, I am building my forces to t

Tortuga True Scale Project Grey Knights small update

The hated foe.....

So I as I have been working on my Grey Knight Tortuga Project and their Custom Ordo Malleus Terminator Inquisitor Lord. And while this is part of the of my gaming group, Metal Head Armory,  upcoming campaign. I do want the bases to reflect a Big Bad threat they face, but what army should it be, and what I am choosing.    Orks- The 2 armies in the group, thanks to Armageddon.  Iron Warriors- Regular army I fight.  Militarum Traitorous- Another new army.  Chaos/ Imp

Game Day!

Created a cheat sheet and printed out Grey Knights Faction pack. Army is all packed and ready to go.  I have 2 games scheduled, Game 1 is vs @The_Oni_of_Hindsight's Orks  and Game 2 is vs @HeiYu13's Tyranids   It has been a while since I played 40k. I am excited to get at least 2 games in. I know my opponents are going to hyper aggressive. So Mother-In-Law is still in town for a little longer but will be moving out here Mid January, as her and her husband's place will be finished 1st of the year and only 90 second drive away from My wife, kids, and me.    With her here, helping with our newborn (1 month old today) adopted Daughter and the boys, I took full advantage of building some models....or more of working on models.      They are not attached to bases but will be pinned to them for durability.

Hallowed Conclave coming in hot!

Well today I have my month 4 (of 6)  2000 pt HH LGS League Game against my buddy  @The_Oni_of_Hindsight today so my Raven Guard vs his Iron Warriors.  But we also are gonna play a 40k as well, He is probably bringing his Death Guard to fight my Grey Knights at 1500 points. I wont be using my True scales as they are still work in Progress but I have plenty of painted Grey Knights to take.

Rites of Armoring

"I am the Hammer!"   The armoring serfs are putting on body glove. The Fiber muscles will enhance my strength. The body glove will allow me to interface with my armor. It will protect me and help me remain stable, and interface with my weapons.    "I am the sword in His hand."   Next is my Aegis Terminator armor. The Powered Exoskeleton, has been worn by my Brothers before me. Their names are etched inside the chest armor to remind me that I am not Immortal.
