Teleport Strike Countdown: T Minus - 3 Days

3 more days.....and In those 3 days I was just barely able to put down a nuln oil on the base last night due to family commitments. Should be able to do metal, bone, highlight dry brushes, rust effects, put down tufts, then water/ sewer paint effects over then next 2 days so Dreadknight #2 will be done

Teleport Strike Countdown: T Minus - 6 days

We are 6 days out until Game day.... And well Friday, was wife's birthday so no hobby time.  Saturday and Sunday tho...   Starting with Dreadnought- Colors getting blocked out,   Then washed and on to highlights     Dreadnought weapons Done (1 of 3 models completed)   Now to Brother Captain             And Brother Captain Liam De Harcourt done (model 2 of 3)

Teleport Strike Countdown: T Minus - 8 Days

Well 2 of my (adopted step) sons had Kindergarten Graduation last night so, instead of an hour+ paint time, I got about 30 minutes. I painted purity seals, scrolls, book pages (I forgot the book on the Brother-Captain's belt), and the browns.            With today being wife's birthday, not sure how much I'll get done tonight but I'll have more time Saturday.

Well with my 1500 point game vs @The_Oni_of_Hindsight's World Eaters and another friend's Khorne Daemon army coming up in now 9 days, it is time to get cracking on the 3 models I need to paint: Nemesis Dreadknight, Venerable Dreadnought Weapons, and Custom Brother Captain. Armored Support acquired......

So I have a problem with my Grey Knights.....a Land Raider problem       So I have 4 Land Raiders...and I think I have 2 more to build (Phobos and Redeemer)...Or had   While on my 19 day Honeymoon in the UK/ Ireland, one of the many stops was in Warhammer World and I left with this kit....     While the rules don't exist for these or if Grey Knights have these....Mine will. I will make them more Grey Knight looking, hopefully.

So there I was working on my Adepta Sororitas  painting my Retributors and building my Sanctifiers (which are finally done). Next thing I know, my Adepta Sororitas are back in display cabinet and Grey Knights are on the table! They just teleported on to my desk…I swear.    See I swore. Reinforcing the Hammer, the preface

Wow, It is December already.....    As I look toward 2025, I am thinking what the future holds in the Terms of the Hobby.  I know part of the Hobby will be going to Warhammer World (and maybe a stop at Element Games has been suggested) in April/ May 2025 as part of my honeymoon excursion across England, Scotland and Ireland. Welcome to Part 3 of my Nemesis Dreadknight paint log.  I have 3 more to paint (1 Grand Master Nemesis Dreadknight and 2 Nemesis Dreadknights) and I will apply lessons learned to those ones. Trying to get back in the swing of painting has been tough. I have been dealing with the stress of being a new  (step) dad, wedding planning, normal life, and work. While it is not depression or it may be a slight depression, it kept me from getting motivated in the hobby.  It also could be the pile of Grey plastic sprues, base coated models and boxes of unbuilt models.  So with Imperial Agents coming out I knew I would be going to the LGS to pick up my preorder, I figure why not get a game or t

So last night I sat down to organize my Grey Knight Terminators to see how many more I needed to make my Brotherhood Terminators 10 man......cause why not. There are 2 squads that have 8 men, 2 squads have 7 and the last 2 have 6 men. As the threat of Combat Patrol against my kids looms ever so closer, the more I feel the pull towards my Grey Knights. I have lots of little side projects for them including more banner bearers and increasing squad size. Plus all the vehicles I have for them          Plus getting some of the servants from Skaventide to add to my Inquisition.  I think I may have to revisit my Kill Team and I am hoping for a codex soon....

Well we had a surprise leak today in the form of Imperial Agents Codex pages. And well I am happy to see that, as it justifies me continuing down the path I am headed.   My tenure as an Adeptus Astartes' player has ended.  It's been coming down the line for a while. It started when Scouts were removed as Troops so I was forced to replace them with Phobos. And then the rule of 3 came into effect so I lost scout squads. Now that Phobos are not troops, I see no reason to play Adeptus Asta

Woo Hoo HOUSE is sold and that chapter is closed!

So huge sigh of relief, House is sold HOA can tell them to what to do and all that. After paying off some debts and such not left with much. We have returned!

Well the desk is usable!!! I have to pick up a few more things for it, Mini vortex paint mixer, Neatfi magnifier/ light, display cabinet and well empty boxes under desk but I can return to painting and building models.        I think I need some Raven Guard HH art and maybe more Adepta Sororitas and Joy Toy Grey Knights.

Call To Arms- UPDATE- Vow Failed

Well, I have 15 days until the Call to Arms is over and I am officially declaring I failed. Normally I would have to push through but every time I go hobby time it is interrupted.  This is not a complaint, adulting sucks, but I went from having a GF with no kids and lots of free time to having a GF that  has 6 adopted kids that all have special needs and need my time to help her.
