I should be working on my CTA 2024 Vow and I just don't have the motivation for some reason. I have been sitting around trying to paint my Ravenguard, Grey Knights, or working on my Adepta Sororitas and nada. I was looking for a Grey Knight parts and found a bag of stuff I have been waiting to build and well it they are built now     Inquistor Hector Rex and his retinue, Astropath, Black Ship Captain (count as Rogue Trader)

So last night I sat down to organize my Grey Knight Terminators to see how many more I needed to make my Brotherhood Terminators 10 man......cause why not. There are 2 squads that have 8 men, 2 squads have 7 and the last 2 have 6 men. I have 2 unopened boxes of terminators so another 2 more would allow me to max out the 6 squads with Apothecaries and Ancients I could then add ancients to my Paladin squads.    Below is my Terminator Armor 2nd Brotherhood. As the threat of Combat Patrol against my kids looms ever so closer, the more I feel the pull towards my Grey Knights. I have lots of little side projects for them including more banner bearers and increasing squad size. Plus all the vehicles I have for them          Plus getting some of the servants from Skaventide to add to my Inquisition.  I think I may have to revisit my Kill Team and I am hoping for a codex soon....

Well we had a surprise leak today in the form of Imperial Agents Codex pages. And well I am happy to see that, as it justifies me continuing down the path I am headed.   My tenure as an Adeptus Astartes' player has ended.  It's been coming down the line for a while. It started when Scouts were removed as Troops so I was forced to replace them with Phobos. And then the rule of 3 came into effect so I lost scout squads. Now that Phobos are not troops, I see no reason to play Adeptus Asta

Vacation time relaxation

Well on a much needed vacation with my fiancé after a very stressful week taking care of family emergency.    Cruise ship, beaches, and Caribbean sunshine…..away from my models and hobby stuff but I did bring the Grey Knight Omnibus by Ben Counter to read while enjoying the sunshine on the balcony, poolside and on the beach.    I am gonna pick up the other books (Sons of Titan and Crowe series) for the next cruise in May to Alaska.    Thunderhawk project is still in planning

Woo Hoo HOUSE is sold and that chapter is closed!

So huge sigh of relief, House is sold HOA can tell them to what to do and all that. After paying off some debts and such not left with much. Reinforcements inbound!

So last week I talked about ordering some heads, a chimera and a few other things.....well I did order some stuff, before I did inventory on what  I had and what I would need.     First off I ordered my head. We have returned!

Well the desk is usable!!! I have to pick up a few more things for it, Mini vortex paint mixer, Neatfi magnifier/ light, display cabinet and well empty boxes under desk but I can return to painting and building models.        I think I need some Raven Guard HH art and maybe more Adepta Sororitas and Joy Toy Grey Knights.

Call To Arms- UPDATE- Vow Failed

Well, I have 15 days until the Call to Arms is over and I am officially declaring I failed. Normally I would have to push through but every time I go hobby time it is interrupted.  This is not a complaint, adulting sucks, but I went from having a GF with no kids and lots of free time to having a GF that  has 6 adopted kids that all have special needs and need my time to help her. She is the love of my life so hobbies had to take a back seat. And this is on top of being short handed at work and w

At what price did we succeed......

Well game 2 of 10th ed is in the books. I lost. It was not even close.  After pulling gambit cards at the end of turn 3 no way I could win as the 1 card I needed was removed at random. I only had the Interceptor Justicar and Librarian left.     Game was a moral victory as I took out most of his cultist and the Noctilith Crown   Highlights-  Ven Dread (lascannon/ Missile Launcher)- rolling 2's to hit turn 1 and turn 2.  Greatest 155 pts spent in list.  190 pt Purg

Well my Grey Knights force is ready to deploy tomorrow. For Titan part 2

Yesterday I talked briefly about this weekends game. Originally it was supposed to be 1k but we decided to make it 1500 pts instead. My opponent, Entropmancer, is playing his Iron Warriors, which will have Terminators, cultist, Chaos Marines, Chaos guard, hell brutes, master of possession, and other units. So with game time this weekend I was leaning towards My Raptors, but I switched it up and I am playing my Grey Knights, as they are painted and I don't need to paint anything. Still toying with lists. Happy I have so much done as it gives me a lot of options. I believe I am playing against my friends Iron Warriors.

Xenos Threats Spotted....Grey Knights Engage

Well first game of 10th edition is in the books......While the Sons of Titan technically won the battle, the losses were so heavy a tactical withdrawl was needed.    I played against my buddy's ork army Consisting of a Mek, Mega nobs, 6 Killer kans, Deff Dread, 3 deff kopters and 2 Flash gitz squads Vs my Librarian, 5 Terminators (psycannon), 5 strike marines (psycannon), 5 interceptors, 5 purgation (4 psilencers) and to 2 lasbacks. So Girlfriend is on vacation until end of the month with her best friend, so that means not bouncing between 2 homes. So Sunday evening  and Monday during my off time, I spent cleaning the house including my hobby area. I had a load of laundry to move from washer to dryer and while waiting for it to finish washing, I decided to paint since my hobby are was cleaned.  Even with my 5 Paladins on the paint handles I drifted towards paint my Inquisitor Erasmus Cartavolnus model. Well I wanted to get some modeling done the past few days but was not able too. Adulting  . Would not recommend. Call To Arms

Well the Call to Arms event has been announced here and now I have 1 month to decide on my pledge. I know it will be Imperium, but will it Adepta Sororitas (lots of stuff primed), Grey Knights (mainly Land Raiders left to build and some units to paint), or Raven Guard/ Raptors (Raptors have some paint so should be eliminated, but Raven guard is on the sprue.)   Really I am leaning to towards my Grey Knights as well they are the most painted of my armies plus I have 5 Land Raiders and a
