Need to focus on getting Grey Knights ready for 1500 point games, which is just painting a Nemesis Dreadknight and new weapons for dreadnought. More models inbound!!!!

Well my preorder Kill Team: Blood and Zeal has shipped from GW…on Friday so it will be here Wednesday.   But I just purchased an Ordo Hereticus Battleforce.     Did I need more Battle Sisters squads…maybe.     Did I need another Immolator…maybe.   Did I need more Inquisitorial Agents…probably not.   Did I need another Ministorum Priest…probably not. Pain is truth."-Sister Erynica N'botu, Order of the Valorous Heart   Well the weekend is over....and I did something I have been wanting to do, I was able to pickup a brush and do some painting for the first time in a long time.    Thursday, I decided to repaint my bases on my characters.  using Valllejo Model Color and Citadel wash (Basalt grey, nuln oil wash, Drybrush of Light grey and Sky grey) and then the all important black base rim.

Well, I did something in the hobby.....I pulled out the models for my 1000 Pt Adepta Sororitas list I have been working on.  Plan is to repaint bases and paint theses specific models.   My list:  1000 pts Hallowed Martyrs   Characters   Canoness: Warlord, Plasma Pistol, Power weapon, Rod of Office, Mantle of Opheila Palatine: Palatine blade, Plasma Pistol, Through Suffering. With the Adeptus Ministorum models coming out for Kill Team: Blood and Zeal, I may really need to revisit my Adepta Sororitas.      With the amount of unpainted models and just the amount of models I have, I can either do them as 2 Orders or One giant order. The 2 Orders I would do are The Order of the Valorous Heart and Order of  Our Martyred Lady. If I go with a single order it will be Valorous Heart.      So I guess I need to build lists....and buy mor

So after going through my Models the other day I have 3 built Penitent Engines, 1 built Mortifier, an unopened Penitent Engine/ Mortifier box, 6 Arco Flagellants, 17 Repentia, 2 Repentia Superiors, and both Blackstone Fortress Priests, plus a custom one.  So enough for a Penitent Host Detachment.  I need to get a few more models to round it out (I would like more Arco Flagellants) and want to convert multi piece Canoness into a "Repentia Canoness/ Palatine"

As much as I love Horus Heresy and Necromunda, 40k is what got me into the hobby, along with my friend @The_Oni_of_Hindsight convincing me to play, was the cool armor of the Space Marines. Grand Army part 5

Returning to my Grand Army idea it did not feel right to not include my Adepta Sororitas, Order of the Valorous Heart. They way I feel it would be the Sisters as the boots on Ground Force requesting aid and holding ground. Storm Troopers performing recon and scout missions. Grey Knights taking ground and performing the majority of the heavy lifting. Sisters of Silence as needed.
