Grey Knights

Vacation time relaxation

Well on a much needed vacation with my fiancé after a very stressful week taking care of family emergency.    Cruise ship, beaches, and Caribbean sunshine…..away from my models and hobby stuff but I did bring the Grey Knight Omnibus by Ben Counter to read while enjoying the sunshine on the balcony, poolside and on the beach.    I am gonna pick up the other books (Sons of Titan and Crowe series) for the next cruise in May to Alaska.    Thunderhawk project is still in planning

Woo Hoo HOUSE is sold and that chapter is closed!

So huge sigh of relief, House is sold HOA can tell them to what to do and all that. After paying off some debts and such not left with much. But I did add 3 items to the hobby area with the money...   First off Lighting....        I picked a second Neatfi light but this time with a magnifier     Next upgrade for the hobby area....       vortex paint mixer   and finally   My first Joytoy Grey Knight

Hobby Time

We have returned!

Well the desk is usable!!! I have to pick up a few more things for it, Mini vortex paint mixer, Neatfi magnifier/ light, display cabinet and well empty boxes under desk but I can return to painting and building models.        I think I need some Raven Guard HH art and maybe more Adepta Sororitas and Joy Toy Grey Knights.

While celebrating my birthday this weekend with my amazing Fiancée, we went to Ikea to look at things to remodel our bedroom and walk out closet. I was pricing out my new desk build out. Well the I found a larger desk and chair for cheaper.      So now I am looking at upgrading my paint racks since I have a larger surface area compared to before by 8 inches depth.     And I will be getting new glass cases eventually.    and as a nice surprise m

Blood Angels

So the Blood Angel 1st company "Archangels" train is moving forward.  Some parts ordered and just need to pick up 2 boxes of the Blood Angels Assault terminators for bits and weapons. Eventually I will get some new Terminators, Chaplain Terminator and Brutulis Dreadnought.   Did grab a Leviathan Terminator Sgt to make into a Terminator Ancient and Sanguinary Guard weapons.     Single Axe blade will be going to Librarian, and the Fancy handguard sword is for Termina

So @Entropomancer and I have been playing 40k and many other GW games together since 1997 when we were just getting out of HS. I remember playing Space Hulk: Vengeance of the Blood Angels on the PlayStation at his house back in the day. I many fond memories laughing at the "please wait" loading screens to find out you died a minute or longer later, when we realized you could block a Genestealer attack, or Sergio's bolter jamming*….even the one time he had the Heavy Flamer, it still jammed. "Prep the Thunderhawks and Shadowhawks! We are leaving."

Well I finally started packing my stuff up at my house, to make it less personal  for the upcoming for sale photos. I filled my Battlefoam Case, GW Case 2 small Cookie sheets, and 1 large cookie sheet.         I still need to pack my Raptors and all the armor.      Opened box is bits and large box sets. Call To Arms- UPDATE- Vow Failed

Well, I have 15 days until the Call to Arms is over and I am officially declaring I failed. Normally I would have to push through but every time I go hobby time it is interrupted.  This is not a complaint, adulting sucks, but I went from having a GF with no kids and lots of free time to having a GF that  has 6 adopted kids that all have special needs and need my time to help her. Well I have a game on 07/15 against my Friends 1k pts of Nids, Plan is use my Raptors and debating going Phobos/ Scout heavy as they are at least primed or more.  Phobos Librarian is a go and more than likely Revier LT.  Trying to figure out the rest of the force. I may need to build an Impulsor for the Reivers to ride in.    I need to start my Call to Arms vow too....hopefully this weekend

So Girlfriend is on vacation until end of the month with her best friend, so that means not bouncing between 2 homes. So Sunday evening  and Monday during my off time, I spent cleaning the house including my hobby area. Call To Arms

Well the Call to Arms event has been announced here and now I have 1 month to decide on my pledge. I know it will be Imperium, but will it Adepta Sororitas (lots of stuff primed), Grey Knights (mainly Land Raiders left to build and some units to paint), or Raven Guard/ Raptors (Raptors have some paint so should be eliminated, but Raven guard is on the sprue.)   Really I am leaning to towards my Grey Knights as well they are the most painted of my armies plus I have 5 Land Raiders and a
