About this blog

Hello, my names Tomcat, and I like to make things with my laser and CNC Machine

sometimes it's shields, coasters, book art, T-shirts, potentially pauldrons here soon.

My creations are for sale here https://tomcatlasercreations.etsy.com (most up to date) as well as https://www.tomcatslasercreations.com/

Current project is doing all 17 of the limited edition book art fronts as wall hangings

I just finished the loyalist 9 along with their heraldry shields, with another 8 for the traitor legions to go as well as their heraldry shields

I am also working on making self contained backlit frames using LEDs and some battery power supplies but that's still a WIP

I've got a discount code for the Bolter And Chainsword members for the next 2 weeks at 10% off

WWAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHGGGGGGGGGG ( The First Appearance of the orks are here)

So a week ago I got asked to make a coaster set, and the only thing it said, was orks. So, I made it as orky as I could. These are 4" slate coasters, featuring the bad moons, evil sunz, blood axes, kult of speed, goffs, and the standard ork faction symbol. I'm quite pleased with how these turned out, hopefully some ork players can swing by and give some feedback on how I did. and if you want a set for yourself, click here : tomcatlasercreations.etsy.com and remember to use discount code

The Wisest Of the Wise, and The Crimson King, the last of the established covers.

So this is not necessarily the closing of this project, but an important Milestone. with these 2 designs done, the last of the GW made Primarch Hardcovers is done. Now To do Horus' which will be I Feel some time in the making. But first, a bit of a breather while I rest on my laurels of what I've accomplished.  There will be more for a few factions or at least one's I've thought of so far. The Sisters of Battle, The Inquisition, The Custodes, the Orks, and the Necrons will all get

The Lord Of Iron, The Red Angel, and the Night Haunter have entered the field!

3 more completed,  3 still to go.  As I get nearer to seeing the completion of this project, I'm excited to see what books I plan on joining these But that's for another time. The Slave, The Lord, and Flayer. I'm quite happy with how these turned out, I was considering doing silver for Perty but Decided against it and I truly love it, especially since, well part of his colors are the same as his most hated legion.  Now it's time for Magnus, Lorgar, and finally my vision for what a

THE FIRST OF THE TRAITORS HAVE ARRIVED!!!!

So the first of the traitor series has arrived.  The Fulgrim one when not backlit is actually purple, but the pink is a nice surprise. I'm over the moon how all these came out, and they are all available here: https://tomcatlasercreations.etsy.com along with the Loyalist ones. Can't wait to see the next batch!

From Kriegers to Sororitas orders to Son’s of Horus, OH MY!

So this week I got some interesting orders, and I wanted to show off some of the designs, as they’re some specific groups I don’t normally get orders for   So Krieg is the most popular group I just don’t get orders for, and I’m super happy how they turned out!   the other is sororitas orders, I’m used to doing a fleur de lis but the specific orders or normally glanced over so doing a martyred lady, Ebon Chalice, AND Valorous heart in one order, just really brought a smile to

LEDS! Backlighting! Oh MY!

So after finding some frames that fit the Primarch fronts, did a few more measurements and went "I think I can fit some lighting in there?" and low and behold I can! so these are 3 framed primarch books with backlights, and I think they turned out amazing.  stay tuned, Pauldrons are still coming!
