Painting Bunker Bingo 2026 - Planning attempt
Hi folks,
After a couple of months since the launch of this challenge in the dedicated Club area, I feel like it is now the time to put some planification inside.
I have started just like this, without much planning than “find-some-unit-to-fill-the-card”. It might be just fine but it is a little bit going by the blind way. So I’ve made an inventory of my backlog which is likely to be included. This year my main plan is to deplete my back log from all the tiny marines I have. But it is not much and certainly not enough to fil most of the card. I started Jan. by putting some detachments as eligible entries plus a Titan in Feb. But it is likely that rest of the entries are not going to be covered by more stuff, at least not in any significative number of entries. 40k miniatures backlog is therefore called from the ban.
I do not have so much models left unpainted. In set these in blue on a prospective card. It is not enough to get all entries covered. And additional material available is essentially battleline units, so : no room left for them.

And what about the green may you ask? Well it is MTO material that may be delivered sooner or later.
But the conclusion is that I just cannot fill a card without buying stuff. I do not plan big investments this year. But some projects and recent releases or teased models might find their way to my wallet. The wish list has been filled in red. We can find some models that are related to distinct projects:
1. Yiriel and Lelith as Dramatis Personnae for my Ynnari conclave (to be explained in a future entry)
2. Mago Terminus just because it is rad, even if I am not really convinced that she should end up on my purchase list.
3. GSC resin psychic horror from Necromunda, because I like the GSC characters from this franchise.
4. But it still missing one entry to comply with “Psykers, Sorcerers and Supernatural”… unless an epic slot of Librarian with sufficient bodyguard units around might compensate?...
It is the plan; a rooster card that may lead me to depleting my backlog through all these isolated and disparate projects. A load to be managed in parallel of the backbone project of painting my ooP Epic (and fantasy stuff).

A good way to go for 2026.
Next step is completion of the Wytches. I have just put the base-coat on the Wraithguards, Ostromondeus, the Arcuitor MAgisterium, the Visarch and Eldrad yesterday. These will therefore be on the painting bench soon.
