Bragun
For I am of the Word and by the Word
Flesh and blood bound to my masters and makers
Chaos guide my stride
My body a shield to those raised above me
My axe death to those opposing my masters
For I am of the Word and by the Word
Soul and sinew pleged to the Four and the One
Chaos guide my hand

Bragun
Master of Executions and Lifeward

“I guard the Word with death. I speak it with the fall of the axe.”
Bragun, Lifeward
Bragun is dread made flesh, the executioner‑saint of the Ebon Word, whose axe has sung the death hymns of a thousand Imperial servants. As Lifeward to First Acolyte Vor Skral, his oath is carved not in parchment but in bone: to guard the Acolyte’s life with his own, and to silence any who would profane the Word.
He is a towering presence, his armor blackened by decades of slaughter, his helm marked with the tally of heads taken in the Iscarne’s name. The massive axe he wields, Vraen‑Sever, is said to drink the faith of its victims, its blade etched with runes that whisper the last prayers of the dying. When Bragun swings it, the air itself seems to recoil, and the battlefield falls quiet in reverence or terror.
Though his speech is sparse, his devotion is absolute. He follows Vor Skral as shadow follows flame, a silent sentinel whose loyalty borders on worship. To the Ebon Word, Bragun is the hand of judgment, the embodiment of the creed that faith must be proven through blood.
