Roa
The blessed Erebus states:
Honored are those with the Sight,
for they pierce the veil of the real and the spirit
Damned are those who turn from the Four,
for they will find no succor in death
Blood shed for the Eight
Blood bound for the Four
Blood born is the Golden One
Blood to show the way
- Blood-Seer Roa
Roa
Blood‑Seer Sorcerer
“Blood remembers. Blood reveals. Blood speaks the Word.”
- Roa of the Ebon Word
Roa walks the battlefield as a scholar of slaughter, a seeker of lost secrets and hidden arts whose faith is written in blood rather than ink. Among the Ebon Word, he is called the Blood‑Seer, for he reads the flow of life as scripture, every drop a syllable in the language of Chaos. His flesh bears the marks of his craft: veins darkened by warp‑taint, runes carved into his skin to channel the whispers of the Four.
He hunts knowledge buried beneath centuries of heresy and ruin, prying truth from the bones of dead worlds and the minds of dying psykers. To Roa, blood is the purest conduit of revelation, the medium through which the Word speaks most clearly. His rituals are quiet, deliberate, and terrible; the air thickens when he works, and the faithful avert their eyes lest they glimpse the truths he unearths.
In the hierarchy of the Ebon Word, Roa stands apart as neither priest nor pure sorcerer, but something older, more primal. He is the vein through which the Truth’s power flows, the one who ensures its lifeblood never runs dry.
