So the Imperial Fists:

So I started assembling the army in a more traditional (to me) way. Priming on the sprue, the assembly was difficult. Having to strip the paint where the model was joined.

So I pivotted, as I mentioned, I bought the airbrush and figured I would follow the YouTube videos.  It was a lot easier.  For the Apothecary I used blue tack to block areas.

Nor for the Imperial Fists you are supposed to use a purple base and "zenithal" style.  You can see I did red, and I did some white layering, but I don't think I understood what I needed to do. 

So The colors are Mephiston Red primer, white highlighting.  Phallanx Yellow, then Imperial Fist Yellow is the scheme.

Here they are with Phallanx Yellow, this was applied with the air brush.  Much better!

Then with the Imperial Fists yellow contrast

Note at this time I hadn't decided on the Storm bolter and weapon colors, so I would go back and forth a couple of times.

The terminators were then based and started on details:  Of course once you take photos you notice all the areas you have to go back and fix.

And finally I had most of the paint down.  There are still many places I have to go back and highlight as well as details missed.  But I tried to assembly line paint them

Lots of little details to clean up.  Sealed them (save point!) with a 3 matt to 1 gloss mix for my air brush!  Loving the airbrush.
