I do not play GSC. But I am painting some units that belong to GSC faction. And I am not refeering to AM proxies kitbashed from GSC Neophytes.

No, I refer to GSC units that cnnot hide or occult their affiliation, except in the shadows and with heavy robes...

My Acolytes were part of a Patrol box I bought with a very big discount: my purchase was less than the cost of a neophyte + Goliath truck and left me with a Magus, Acolytes and Aberrants for free. I have painted the Aberrants almost 2 years ago. The Magus was used as a base for kitbashing a Drukharri Archon. The Acolytes required some attention and time has come.

I had tried a scheme that was inspired from the Tiamet one on my Aberrants. 2 years after I had to remember how I did it to resume it on the Acolytes.

The recipe being on WarComm, it helped a lot. Though it is important to notice ythat I have followed the guidelines only for the skin, as the chitin part was done in a different fashion. a greener fashion.

The result is a little bit different from my Aberrants as I did not succeed into finding back the sequences of drybrushing that led me to a tad dirtier aspect of the carapaces. In order to keep a link (visual) with my kitbashed AM regiment, I set the armour in the same tone, but this time I have underlined the edges with white. Mainly to correct colour splashes. But it strenghten the contrast and is a little bit too much eye catching. But should I someday play GSC, it will allow a easier visual coherency between units.
