“Student brother”, Trainees in the Cult of Garro who form the Battle lines in various roles (Intercessors, Assault Intercessors and assault marines with Jump packs). Student Brothers are capable of falling to a (black) “righteous rage” and going berserk.   To this end a unit must be attached to a Chaplain known as “Oshō”.

“Unsui” are those student brothers who have proven themselves time and again both battle and in personal discipline to not fall into the righteous rage of the student brothers and to not show signs of insurrection or dis-ease.  Unsui form the majority of battlefield support roles, some are considered veterans.
"Oshō", Is the title given to a virtuous brother of the Chaplaincy, the title is used for trainees who have acquired a basic level of priesthood and act as Chaplain Sergeant. 

"Rōshi" ("old brother”) is traditionally an honorific title given to brothers interred into a Dreadnought, depending on the Rōshis mental state and age some can fall to the “righteous rage”

”Shike" is a title reserved for those who have reached the rank of lieutenant.

”Venerable Shike” is the title given to Captains.

”Shukuteki” is the title given to the Head Abbot of the Chaplaincy.

”Certenon Proditor Commander”, is the title reserved for the Chapter Master.

7 Chapter Command (Chapter Master, Chapter Champion, flag bearer, 2 hand selected unsui, Oshō and an apothecary.)

Each of the seven companies have a command team comprising 1 Captain, 2 lieutenants, 1 Chapter Champion, flag bearer, 2 hand selected unsui, 1 Oshō an apothecary and a techmarine.

The remaining units comprise of Squads divided into Battleline (including attached Oshō (Chaplins), Close Support, Fire Support, and Scout types with 5-10 Space Marines each.

As a brutal, fast Interdiction force, The Setting Sons are equipped with their own Impulsors, Landspeeders, bikes,  and Dreadnoughts.
