The hated foe.....

So I as I have been working on my Grey Knight Tortuga Project and their Custom Ordo Malleus Terminator Inquisitor Lord. And while this is part of the of my gaming group, Metal Head Armory,  upcoming campaign. I do want the bases to reflect a Big Bad threat they face, but what army should it be, and what I am choosing.

  • Orks- The 2 armies in the group, thanks to Armageddon.
  • Iron Warriors- Regular army I fight.
  • Militarum Traitorous- Another new army.
  • Chaos/ Imperium Knights- big army high cost for bits.
  • T'au- Does not feel right. Deathwatch maybe.
  • Custodes- That fight is coming....Terminus Decree and all.
  • Astra Militarum- A few in the group but not a one I want to do.
  • Sororitas- My army and that one fluffy piece always bugged me.
  • Ad Mech- too much work to make them dead.
  • Tyranids- I could get the bits from a buddy, but that is very UM.
  • Necrons- phase out, would not make sense, once again Deathwatch makes more sense,
  • GSC- not played in my group
  • Aeldari/ Drukhari- Again Deathwatch.
  • Red Corsairs/ Thousand Sons- Would work but pricey model
  • World Eaters- Same a Red Corsairs and 1k Sons
  • Death Guard- makes sense as the story has been making them the bad guys for a few editions.
  • Space Marines- Same as Custodes
  • Emperor's Children- If I buy them I would build an EC Army.
  • Leagues of Votann- Yeah that army in my group is shelved for a little while.

That leaves daemons.....I am the Daemon Hunters. So what God?

  • Tzeentch- Bright colors, annoying horrors, my least favorite Chaos Guard.
  • Nurgle- Dirty fithy paint scheme.  I don't think I could handle it.
  • Khorne- BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!.....Yeah carrying severed Khorne Daemon heads seems like serving Khorne.
  • Slaanesh- She who thrists. The Prince of the Chaos Gods. Turned a Sect of Eldar. Daemonettes, Seekers, Fiends.

So I am really thining about adding  Slaanesh daemon casualties to my bases, cause why not. I like how the purples and pale skin will pop against the silver armor while in desert sands bases I am making.
