Just a small update on Inquisitor "Ares"

Added some accessories, a back Icon, and found a hand to add to his stormbolter.  I have the head on a piece of metal to ease the painting and well it was long enough to go through the torso into the legs.  I want to redo the hose on his bionic arm to is force axe, and add more wires to spots. I might give him a Servo Skulls or something else.

Aka "Ares"

  Inquisitor-Lord Martyn Odum, has served as in Inquisitor in the Ordo Malleus for over 500 Terran years. As a young boy Martyn was discovered by Inquisitor Stal McGuir due to his psychic abilites. Inquisitor McGuir took him under her wing and began training him as on of her Alcolytes. He advanced through the ranks, becoming a formidable Interrogator against those who worshipped the dark gods. He continued being a thorn in the sides of the Chaos Gods once he received his Inquisitorial Rosette, becoming a full fledge Inquisitor.  He was gifted a suit of Terminator armor by the Grand Masters of the Inquisition to help him fight the forces of the Chaos and Daemons before they assigned him a very important mission, Inquisitor Odum was to capture a Heretical Inquisitor alive. The Heretic in question was Inquisitor McGuir.

  At some point Inquisitor McGuir became a Heretic and made a dark pack with a Chaos God. Inquisitor Odum understood his mission. Capture his former master and turn her over to the the Grand Masters. Inquisitor Odum, knew Inquisitor McGuir and her trusted advisors, so this was personal for him. They had betrayed the Emperor and the Imperium. There was whisper that he may be in leagues with his former Master. Inquisitor Odum heard the whispers and made a request. He requested a Callidus Assassin accompany him. One of the Grand Masters commented that they wanted her alive. Inquisitor Odum stated that the Assassins target was himself. In case of any doubt or signs of corruption the Assassin would reveal herself and kill him.  His loyalty was not brought into question verbally again. 

  Inquisitor Odum and his "Scribe" worked his way through Heretic McGuir's retinue and advisors. Friendships forever gone, all deemed heretics and traitors. None survived Inquisitor Odum's wrath. His "Scribe" documented everythign that was said and done. Finally Inquisitor Odum caught up to Heretic McGuir. She was hiding in an abandoned Chapel on Farfallen, in the Segmentum Solar. Farfallen was part of the Trail of Saint Evisser and had once had many pilgrims visiting and now has become an Ecclesiarchy  still maintains a Hall of Remembrance to collect and compile all of the trail's religious legacy for posterity. Inquisitor McGuir picked the planet for it's beauty and to corrupt the Ecclesiarchy priests and priestess. Being close to Terra was a bonus. MCGuir informed her former Pupil and his "scribe" that the Emperor was wrong and Slaanesh was the true path. After a short fight, Inquistor Odum realized she was not possessed, had used the bodies of priests to summon As'Mo'Deus, Keeper of Secrets  He hit her with a stasis grenade trapping her. Unfortunately she opened a warp gate that a Greater Daemon of Slaanesh entered the the Chapel. A long grueling fight ensued and eventually a very tired and weakened Inquisitor Odum assisted by his "Scribe" that had revealed her true form as Callidus Assassin, was able to defeat the Keeper of  Secret. As the As'Mo'deus the Keeper of Secrets was being banished, it said that eventually Odum would feel it's touch and caress again for the glory of Slaanesh and that he would not be the same again. 

  Returning to Terra with Heretic McGuir, he presented her to the Grand Masters of the Inquisition. The Callidus Assassin gave her briefing after Inquisitor Odum had given his briefing. The events were verified. And Mcguir was taken away to never been seen again. Inquisitor Odum would continue his service.  Inquisitor Odum built his own staff and agents. Eventually becoming an Inquisitor-Lord with a palace, Enyalios, on Enceladus, one of the Moons of Saturn. Inquisitor Odum chose the callsign "Ares" once he started being assigned Soldiers for the Chamber Militant of the Ordo Malleus, The Grey Knights. 

  During one mission to investigate a Chaos Cult on Nova Terra, a full blown Daemon Incursion was discovered. During the fight, The Keeper of Secret, As'Mo'Deus, revealed itself. Seeing Inquisitor-Lord Odum, As'Mo'Deus charged him, vowing to fulfill It's promise. A battle ensued. As'Mo'Deus claws lashing out, his sword striking, and punches thrown. Odum parried and struck out with his Daemon Hammer and fired his stormbolter. The furry of blows eventually wore down, Odum and the Keeper of Secrets showed no signs of tiring. Misjudging a strike, the Keepers of Secrets' sword carved through his terminator armor right arm at the bicep severing the arm. Staggering back, Odum, took a claw strike below the knee, and lost his right leg. With a kick to his face that shattered the right side of his face, As'Mo'Deus believed it fulfilled it's promise to Inquisitor- Lord Odum, and left him to die. If it was not the for Grey Knights teleporting him off the world, Inquistor-Lord Odum's would have been lost forever.

  A long time was spent on recovering from the wounds and adjusting to his bionics, and such his property and his Agents given to his most trusted Agent, Inquisitor Tobias Thrace to protect the Galaxy for the threat of Chaos and Daemons.  Inquisitor Martyn Odum was then listed as Dead, At the Emperor's side. Inquisitor-Lord Ares now serves in Odum's place as the Ordo Malleus Representative to the Grey Knights.
