Went ahead and got all my count-as Beserks build, including my Berehk. The Ironhead Squats from Necromunda turned out to be pretty darn good, better than I expected. Berehk was built from the Claim Jumper model, which works perfectly with a slight pickaxe-to-polearm conversion, as I didn't really like the back half of the pickaxe and wanted something more hero-y. The Beserks come in two flavors, concussion mauls made from pickaxes and hammers, and heavy plasma axes made from various axe weapons of the Squats. Each 10-man squad has two twin concussion gauntlet wielders (powerfists), as well as two mole launchers made from the Exo-armor Drillmaster bodies with the techmites counting as ECOG helpers. Looking forward to using these guys on the field, as my Votann have lacked a decent melee punch.

Next up...not much honestly. I have a big backlog right now, with these Votann (plus 3 more Thunderkyn), my converted Nightbringe, and my Night Lords contingent of my CSM army that need to get painted as far as 40k goes. I also have some Necromunda stuff that needs to have paint applied, mainly a converted Spyderken outcast gang and some Ash Waste vehicles. I'm in the process of painting up my Word Bearers, so hopefully will have them done/almost done by the end of September at the latest. Other than that, I have a few non-board appropriate projects in the works, from a couple of Battletech lances to paint to an entire faction of the Malediction tabletop/card game to paint up (Legion of the Fallen), as well as some AoS Flesh-Eater Courts stuff that I've been slowly collecting for the last half year, as both the FEC and Legion models will push my painting into new areas that involve skin/flesh/fur (even if most of it is somewhat rotted and bloodstained). 

So far the year has been decent in my hobbying, with an entire Votann army finished (aside from the latest additions) and quite a bit of other stuff finished up. With the addition of these Votann and the Malediction stuff however, I'm further back than I want to be and have some serious painting ahead of me. The plan is to get all of my Votann, CSM, and the Malediction painted by the end of the year, with various Battletech minis and other randos thrown in to break up any painting monotony.
