Adding in the Alpha Legion and some others

An update, an update!

I've decided that I need some more Chaos in my life and that the Ebon Word/Shrikeborn need some friends. I was looking over the Red Corsair rules and rather like them, especially since CSM don't have any other Infiltrating units. While I like the rules and I think the models are ok, they just don't really fit with the aesthetics of the force I have already, being more modern and a force of renegades rather than older legion warriors. So what is a budding warlord to do? Look up the legion with the greatest history of infiltrating, that's what!

Thus, I decided to grab some Alpha Legionnaires. A squad of MkVI dudes with some leftover assault squad weapons and a couple of meltas will give me two Red Corsair Raider squads, and an AL Praetor will work fine for a Reave-Captain. So my little warband of Alpharius' finest is set there for the most part. The Whisper Host rises!

Beyond that, I decided to grab the Masters of the Maelstrom itself. I might use Huron eventually, or treat him as a painting project, but right now it is his hangers-on that I want for various leaders and such. I have a lot of Ebon Word leaders, but only three for the Shrikeborn so I thought that the Masters would make a good group to convert from. So-

Garreon the Corpse-Master: Will convert to a Shirkeborn Apothecary, used in-game as Fabius Bile.

Xenos pet Plunder: I'll try to add on some bits and bobs to make it a suitable surgery-acolyte for my Fabius.

Garlon Souleater: A pretty standard CSM Sorcerer, don't know if I want to have him in the Shrikeborn or the Whisper Host.

Katar Garrix: Will become a Master of Executions for the Whisper Host I think, don't really know what else to do with him

Captain Sargotta: With a head swap, she will be a Traitor Enforcer, the head of the Still Order mortal fighters

The Enforcer: The Captain's "Ogryn" Bodyguard

Now, I have previously made a camo-cloak for an ex-AL member for an RPG game, it went pretty well I think (see below pics). I'm wondering if the Phantom Coil squad should all have cloaks, or even just some of them, to represent their infiltration prowess. Thoughts?

I absolutely think a cloak of some kind would give an interesting silhouette for these guys and make them very distinct from your Word Bearer and Night Lord squads. Looking forward to seeing how they turn out.
