Starting a Force
Note: at first, this is going to be a retrospective blog, so for certain people some of the progress is a bit older. Hopefully I will catch up to my current state of AT hobbying quickly enough.
Having had the opportunity to visit WHW with a small group of fellow hobbyists, Olis (from BnC) and Dragonlover (also from BnC) kindly gave me tutorials on how to play Adeptus Titanicus while we were there. And it was really fun!
I bought an Adeptus Titanicus starter set soon after as the basis of my AT force.
Then, the important questions presented themselves to me: Traitor or Loyalist? Which Legio?
It wasn’t long before I had an answer. Legio Fureans have always captivated me with their yellow and black scheme. It would be a nice change from my Sons of Horus, but would also still stick to the Traitor theme.
Perfect. Let’s start modelling I thought. Assembling AT models has been interesting. The Warhound titan isn’t complex by any means, but compared to the hundreds of space marines I’ve assembled in my hobby lifespan, I’d never done it before. Luckily it’s a very error proof kit. Veteran AT players advised me not to glue the weapons on and use magnets.
